Did that guy really blame you lol? That's ridiculous, you very clearly stated the risks, also, who tries to flash an older boatloader then blames the guy uploading the files lmao.

I no longer blame norbarb. because i have been facing some things in my personal life, i was angry and unfortunately took it out on him. I have sent norbarb a PM for an apology. We, meaning the person, flashing any type of ROM,bootloader,recovery,fix, or anything are willingly and knowingly taking a huge risk on our devices. I do apologize to any one i may have offended in previous comments. i accept full responsibility for bricking my own phone and to help myself get over it i have ordered 2 motherboards in which only 1 has been sent and the other i got ripped off from a seller. but ill be back monday with no flash crazy tendencies.
moving forward, the only possible way i see at the moment to get past the brick is by using the UART EDL cable to do a deep flash. Recovery mode on my phone has been completely wiped out no matter if a recovery image passes with a flash, abl.elf files still thrw an error.if anyone is willing to work on the logic board that i have, FOR TESTING ONLY, i will be glad to send it to them, but, just to find a workaround and of course they ship it back once testing is done.
And once again, I apologize to norbarb and all i have offended.

So do you need me check it for you. I know for s8+there is update to U2BQK6 from current firmware. I have it. Same question since this process automatically downloads BQK6. Also, is there a way to know if this loads the different bootloader, so we can't ODIN back to the current stock firmware if we need to?

this 100% adds the new bootloader. if this messes up your phone you will need to wait for a firmware to come out and use odin on your phone to go to the stable one.
