G955USQU1E is a strange package build. I'm not sure what that's from but it won't let you flash due to a release key mismatch. You can try and edit the updater script but the binary will probably fail anyway. It may be best to wait until the ota is live and check the package then... Remember these new files are unreleased.

You cannot update from QEB - these updates are for QDE. How did you get on QEB? Did you previously use an update from this package? QEB is the version that was released internationally (but not the 955U version obviously). If you didn't update to it manually, then you must have had it pushed by AT&T as a test or something, as it has not been released yet.

At any rate - the update will fail as it isn't built for QEB -> QEF. You would need to ODIN back to an earlier version (QDE if it's around, or the one before then take the system update), then use this update. But honestly if you're on QEB I suspect the changes are minor anyway, so not sure it would be worth it!

You got wrong build in your phone. This is international build for G955U you need to be on AT&T build endings with U1AQDE.

The international build is 955F. He's on a QEB version of 955U, which is the US carrier version. That's why I was wondering how he got on QEB, if he didn't do it manually via the update in this thread...

Yes but looks like he have German firmware form G955F on his ( what i think) AT&T model. So what he need to do is get back to AT&T firmware by ODIN and then update to what he wants by ADB.

So basically, you have it fixed, also i haven't had the chance to update my AT&T S8 Plus with this update, any different on this update , or you just can't notice it, Thanks!
Definitely smoother/less prone to UI hiccups at the moment. However, whether that's actually an improvement in the firmware or just because it's a fresh wipe/install is yet to be seen...
