I have a question concerning adb.I have a "bricked" Nook HD plus running on a SD card.(jelly bean 4.2.2). I am trying to connect it to adb on my PC. Adb is working ....it recognizes another HD plus (non-bricked) and a Kindle Fire HD 8... but the HD plus running on the external SD card is not seen. Is there a way I can get adb to see this one? Any help would be appreciated, thanks

Hi Fire1951,
I'm no expert on ADB, but your plan doesn't sound promising.
Per "man adb", adb requires a daemon to run on your nook HD+.
You might have better luck resetting it to stock and starting over.
The good news is that you have to try really hard to completely brick it.

While I appreciate the response to my question, I suspect you misunderstood the question.... and actually I need some input from someone more familiar with ADB ( which I admit I am not, hence my question). My Nook HD plus is already bricked ( by the lagfix bug). I have been running it on a no-emmc version external sd card with android 4.2.2 on it.( I can also run it on a no-emmc version of android with 4.4.2 on it.... it runs just fine with either external sd card.) I have been attempting to send either one some commands via adb.... .but they are not being seen by adb (that is, the devices are not seen). I also have 2 other nook hd pluses....one with android 7.1.2 aosp and the other with 4.2.2 jelly bean (neither of these two are bricked) and a Fire hd 8...all three have no problems with adb. What I am trying to find out is ....Is communication with the bricked nook even possible ?(the SD card os)... (I am not referring to flashing zips, etc). If anyone knows IF this can be done, I would appreciate some info on how to do this....or...if you KNOW this is not possible...please let me know also. Thanks.
