I only saw the LTE icon when I was using a custom rom (InsertCoin), a T-Mobile version (it allows you to pick your carrier during install), but never on the stock rom. That's why I'm wondering what files I need to make it work on the stock rom. Maybe the radio, I'm not too sure about flashing radios so I will do some research.

I installed your addon but unfortunately I'm getting the same error I was getting with the InsertCoin custom rom: ER05 "Invalid Sim"

Not sure what to do next. Thanks for all the info so far, it's helping me understand things a bit better.
Stock ROMS may display 4G instead of LTE. If it says 4G, that usually means you're on LTE.

On ARHD, I had to modify this file:
/system/customize/ACC/default.xml

true

Changing this to false did the trick for me on ARHD. I'm not sure if it's the same or similar on a stock based ROM. Good luck!

It seems like this addon worked (didn't give me any errors on install or bootup) on my HTC one mini. The LTE icon shows up after installing it, I didn't have to edit any file.

I'm having the same experience as when I installed a custom rom with the TMobile carrier bundle. LTE icon, WiFi calling in the menu, can activate but I get an ER05 Invalid Sim error. TMobile says everything is set on their end but can't support my phone because they never offered a variant of it.

Enabling...

Hey all,
My WiFi calling is grayed out on Enabling with an HTC One M7.

I tried:
- SIM card swap (turn wifi off, pop SIM out and back in, turn wifi on)
- Set your E911 address on your T-Mobile profile here.
-Turn wifi off, restart phone, turn wifi on. It can take 2 minutes or so for the wifi calling to get enabled finally

Previously:
I had TWRP 2.6 and installed ARHD 82.0 over 71.
I then tried "TMOUS_WiFi_Calling_Sense6_ARHD82.zip" but it was grayed out at "enabling"
When I upgraded to TWRP 2.8 it reset my phone.
Had to reinstall TWRP 2.6 and then ARHD 82.0.
Now on TWRP 2.6 but I am afraid to go to 2.8.

Update (2 hours later): Now w/ 83.1 installed. I then tried "TMOUS_WiFi_Calling_Sense6_ARHD82.zip" but still grayed out. Still on TWRP 2.6

I'm hoping this thread over at T-Mobile can help. Possibly your router/firewall is not allowing communication on the required ports? Might be worth a shot.

I have the 64gb Dev Edition of the M7.
TWRP 2.7.1.1
I just did a clean install of ARHD 83.1
selected international edition since I didn't want tmobile icons.

then flashed this MOD and wifi calling works for me. I can toggle it on and off and make calls from abroad, no problem.

maybe try clean install?

Flailing around with router settings right now but not having much luck. Is there a way to temporarily open ALL the ports to check this theory?
There is a way to open all ports, but it depends on the router since its usually always in a different location for each one.

But as I mentioned earlier in my previous post I do own a 64GB Dev Edition M7, ARHD 83.1 and tmob wifi calling works for me

64GB Dev Edition M7
ARHD 83.1
TWRP 2.7.1.1
TMobile Mod

CLEAN INSTALL since i wanted to do it for a while. selected INTERNATIONAL edition to flash. then reboot, setup everything, FLASH tmobile mod.

WORKS with my tmobile sim.

By CLEAN install do you mean you wiped the Data Partition during the AR install? (I did not)
I was on the international version but tried the "m8" tmobile version with the same results.

Tomorrow I'll hit up some free wifi spots and see if I see anything.

just do a factory reset install, which is what I did.

1. Tried the wifi at a Starbucks and a McDonalds - enabling still grayed out.
2. Factory reset twice. First time it restored settings and I tried it with same results, second time I jumped in before it restored settings and it still didn't work.
3. If it is indeed router settings- then it's a moot point since I won't be able to change them at work where I get *0* cell service.
I guess it wasn't meant to be.

MMS over WiFi Calling is HERE!

It's finally up! If you're looking to get MMS working over WiFi Calling, my apologies for the lengthy list of instructions to get it to work. The gist is you have to delete the existing locked APN and create a new one with an empty value for APN Type. Screenshots are attached to help along the way.

Hope everyone enjoys their holidays! Merry Christmas and Happy New Years!
