@xXDeathDealaXx I have tried repeatly to download the ARHD 83.1 Addon file but I'm either getting "Failed - Network error" or the file is missing most of the Wi-Fi calling files (just the common and META-INF folders). Is there a mirror or another site to download the files? I have tried with both the PC and phone.

I just posted some mirror links. Let me know if that works out for you.

Any chance this would work on ARHD 90.1?

Edit: answered my own question. It seems to be a pretty solid no (it wouldn't start. I was using multirom so no biggie). It is working on ARHD 84, which is nice, but I'm not sure MMS is working. I'm testing that out right now.

yeah i tried this also. arhd90 was great but it wouldn't start after flashing wifi calling. as for 84, just make sure you delete the locked apn and write a new one without "apn type"

Forgot to post back. MMS, SMS, and wifi calling are all working great in ARHD 84, following the instructions provided. It took me forever to find this, so hopefully the Googles pick up this little reply and make it easier for others.

Thank you very much for your reply! I will update the OP with the latest ARHD 84 compatibility (I'm still on 83.1 :cyclops:).

Update on WiFi calling on ARHD 90.x and above

If you're wondering about getting WiFi calling/MMS on ARHD 90.x, it looks like we're gonna be outta luck until T-Mobile shares their Lollipop. As of right now, this mod only works on ARHD 84 and below running the latest 4.4.3. The best website to look for T-Mobile updates on the HTC One m7 is here. Another place to look for updates would be on HTC's software update page located here.

Once we get that Lollipop, I can parse through the files and build a package for us to install. Until then, please enjoy T-Mobile WiFi Calling on your KitKat HTC One!

Thanks to everyone for showing your support! :good:

And thank you for taking the time to do this for us, I really appreciate it.
Also y'all can look on htc's website for the official release status of various updates right here
at the moment it looks almost near done "certification"

Again, thanks for making WiFi calling possible on ARHD! My wife is in Nairobi right now and wifi calling (end to end) from the USA to Kenya is crystal clear - - and free!

I would love to see this in ARHD 22.x for the HTC One M8

ARHD's USB Tethering of the M8 Wi-Fi works (proper use of the word - the cable between the phone and your USB port is a "tether") where most ROMs now seem to make you turn off Wi-Fi and use your data plan Grrr!
If I had Wi-Fi calling and Wi-Fi-to-USB tethering I would be set!

Ironically, every ROM I have tried with working Wi-Fi Calling also makes you turn off the Wi-Fi if you Tether.
I sense (ha!) a plot to generate more revenue from data charges.

Any tips? Thank you.

Any tips? Thank you.

First of all this probably isn't the right thread to be asking this.
tether may have that meaning in the dictionary but in current usage it only means "mobile network sharing", looks like you need to look for a router or wifi pass-through app.

in other news, tmo released their m7 lollipop update ota earlier this week, I sense we are one step closer to wifi calling on 5

Fantastic work! WiFi calling is a necessity where I am and thanks to all the hard work I finally upgraded to ARHD 91.1 with this Add-on. I tried running APN Backup Restore and it doesn't let me delete any APN profiles. Is there any way to uninstall that app as it doesn't seem to work?

APN Backup Restore will only work if you Disable ICS Check that's in that app. Then you can delete the APN and then re-create it with the correct APN Type. MMS will then work over WiFi Calling with the stock messages app. Google Hangouts does not play well with mms over wifi calling. I got this working on mine, so I know it works ;)

The easiest way to remove the app since it installs to /system is to go into Titanium Backup and remove it that way.

Does this firmware.zip wipe storage and whatnot? I noticed that it is almost double the size of the "modified no wipe" firmwares. Thanks in advance

This does not wipe data. I got this from the T-Mobile OTA that upgrades 6.10.531.10 to 7.18.531.2. You do not need previous firmwares in order to get the latest and greatest.

I'm not exactly sure what all T-Mobile added that makes the firmware that much bigger. The radio.img seems to be the biggest one weighing in at 70mb. Since it is a stock firmware, it also replaces your existing recovery.img. You will also see the red text about this build being for development purposes blah blah blah. I was able to modify the hboot on this firmware that removes that warning. I can get that posted on here later.

Sounds exactly like what I am looking for. I flashed a modified firmware about 6 weeks ago. About 4 weeks ago I suddenly couldn't make or receive calls when using LTE. My 3g is gone so I have to be on 2g to make or receive calls. Then about 2 weeks ago (after a simple reboot) I started getting "error99: unable to connect" for WiFi calling.

If you do get a version up without the red warning text I would appreciate it. If not, April 10th and the M9 are approaching quickly. I don't know why something so minor bugs me that much but it would be appreciated nonetheless. In the meantime I will flash the one you have up. Thanks again.

Wow thanks again! Confirmed it is working for both sending and receiving. Great work! Can't emphasize it enough!

    About
I've been a user of ARHD 31.6 for a long time, but was sad when later versions did not have WiFi calling. Apps like GrooVe IP and Vonage Mobile work great, but they didn't have the same embedded feel or quality that I was used to with T-Mobile WiFi Calling. After what seemed like pointless searching to get T-Mobile Wifi Calling to work on custom HTC Sense ROMS, I finally decided to take matters into my own hands.

    Future of this Addon
My hope for this addon is to have it baked into all of our favorite Sense based ROMS.

    Say Thanks

    - Disable WiFi Optimization by going into System Settings > WiFi > Menu > Advanced > WiFi Optimization
    - Install T-Mobile US latest firmware and radio:

    • MUST BE S-OFF!!!!
    • Download Latest T-Mobile US Firmware below.
    • Copy firmware.zip to your fastboot.exe location (example c:/AndroidSDK/platform-tools/)
    • Open cmd prompt from within your fastboot directory or cd to it
    • Boot device into fastboot mode (power+volume DWN, select fastboot)
    • Connect device to PC
    • Enter the following cmd and wait for device to reboot into RUU mode:
      Code:
      fastboot oem rebootRUU
    • Enter the following cmd and wait for process to complete (note the on screen progress bar will not fill completely, refer to cmd prompt's output for flash details):
      Code:
      fastboot flash zip firmware.zip
    • Process will fail after updating Hboot the first time with the following error (normal):
      Code:
FAIL (remote 90 hboot pre-update! please flush image again immediately)
    • Repeat the same command:
      Code:
      fastboot flash zip firmware.zip
    • Once update completes and is successful, enter the this command:
      Code:
      fastboot reboot
    • If you run into issues, additional info can be found here.

Steps to Enable MMS Over WiFi Calling

    SPECIAL NOTE:
Send/Receiving MMS will only work with the stock T-Mobile Messages app when on WiFi Calling. This app is included in the above zip.

    Download screenshots HERE or HERE.

FIRST YOU MUST INSTALL THE LATEST ZIP FROM ABOVE
Originally, I thought you could just create a new APN with the below settings and MMS would work, but I was not successful. This lead me to think that there must be some code that looks for the "T-Mobile US LTE" APN. Because of conflict of interest, we need to delete the existing APN and create a new one with the same name.
(IF YOU KNOW HOW TO BAKE APN SETTINGS INTO A SENSE 6 ROM, PLEASE LET ME KNOW)

    1. Open the newly installed "APN Backup & Restore" app.
    2. Tap "Ok" to bypass the Android 4.0+ warning.
    3. Tap settings.
    4. Tap "Disable ICS Check."
    5. Tap "Delete APNs."
    6. Tap "Yes" to confirm deletion.
    7. You should now have "Delete succeeded." Go ahead and close.
    8. Open up main android "Settings."
    9. Go into "Mobile data." (make sure airplane mode is disabled)
    10. Go into "Access point names."
    11. Tap settings.
    12. Tap "New APN" and enter in the below settings:
      Name: T-Mobile US LTE
      APN: fast.t-mobile.com
      Proxy: <Not set>
      Port: <Not set>
      Username: <Not set>
      Password: <Not set>
      Server: <Not set>
      MMSC: http://mms.msg.eng.t-mobile.com/mms/wapenc
      MMS proxy: <Not set>
      MMS port: <Not set>
      MMS protocol: WAP 2.0
      MCC: 310
      MNC: 260
      Authentication type: <Not set>
      APN type: <Not set>
      APN protocol: IPv4/IPv6
      APN roaming protocol: IPv4
Enable/disable APN: <greyed out unless there are multiple APN's>
      Bearer: Unspecified
    13. Tap settings.
    14. Tap "Save."
    15. You should now have T-Mobile US LTE selected.
    16. Open the Messages app and answer "Yes" to make Messages the default SMS application.
CONGRATULATIONS!!! You should now be able to send and receive MMS messages on WiFi Calling!

I was able to install mod on ARHD 82.0 last night. It works for me. Using TWRP 2.8.0.1 (latest TWRP that works with ARHD AROMA installer)

I will add this mod to the ROM installer in 82.1 :)
