Great, I have installed and now tested sabs.. Is it possible to hide the space left empty by the advertisement (like what happens on a p k m r r or r) as it happens with in normal adblocker? Thanks for the app

It depends on the website or app. You can't force it to hide the empty space

I've updated the SABS on github. Please test and let me know if it works for you. Tomorrow I'm making a thread for real. Last time life got in the way.
I cannot download apps from Google play store with latest build.. apps can be downloaded when SABS is turned off, please fix

No known Play Store problems when using the current SABS default domains list ("Standard package"). It's difficult to help you unless you tell us what specific error message (if any) you get from the Play Store or which domains (if any) appear blocked for the Play Store under "Recent activities".

Using default Standard package...
There is no error, when trying to download apps from Play store is just continuously shows as "downloading" but does not download. Turning off SABS and restarting the download.. the file downloads straight away!

Nothing in your screenshot indicates that google play domains are blocked.
Can you please do this in order with blocking on:
1. Close sabs app
2. Start download
3. Stop download after a few seconds
4. Open sabs
5. Open recents screen and take a screenshot.
Your pictures are in the oposite order.

No trouble here downloading the exact app you show with a default SABS installation on an unrooted N8 with the current Samsung firmware and Play Store 8.9.24. Disabling SABS altogether is too drastic a measure and doesn't tell us us anything about your specific issue. The reference to android-ss-service-lib in your recent activities is a bit odd, but we don't know how you compiled SABS or what you were doing at the time. Check your logs carefully, make sure your Android Studio configuration is up-to-date, etc. I'm afraid we don't have enough info to diagnose your problem remotely, sorry.

@NeedleGames
Thanks guys.
Just installed version 0.0.6 from your site and now no issues with Google play downloads.
However, just remembered that I enabled Google DNS before.. enabling Google DNS definitely stops Google play downloads!

Probably related to the block of port 53 got all packages. Did you experience the same with the latest iteration of Adhell or no?
Does it even make sense for AdHell/SABS to struggle in order to correct those odd Chrome behaviors? I'm not a Chrome user except for testing, but doesn't simply disabling Async DNS in Chrome (and other Chrome-based browsers that also bypass the OS DNS) solve the problem without any bearing over other apps ... until Google finds another creative way to complicate matters?

BTW, note that some providers (especially satellite-based ISPs) silently intercept and reroute all DNS requests, but that's a whole other can of worms... ;)

Agree to this. As long as Chrome provides the flag to disable the Async DÑS, there is no need to fiddle around with blocking through AdHell and SABS, specifically when there are side effects

It does, or did, but the flags for the experimental features are often removed so eventually it would need to be circumvented anyway.

It really shouldn't cause issues with port 53 being blocked solely in browsers.

I've personally never set a custom DNS entry through Adhell. I know the DNS details are entered alongside the domain rules, but I can't think of any reason why this would restrict the Play Store.

Same issue with latest iteration of Adhell
Did you compile the latest version or was it from an APK download?
