What can one expect to fall apart with adoptive storage enabled in case a OTA would arrive?
Cheers
At least after factory reset adoptable storage was gone, so probably it would be best to move all apps back to internal storage and external SD card (if possable, e. g. Pokemon Go) before updating

Well even after reinstalling marshmallow completely clean some apps wont work with adoptable storage so it's useless for me atm. Will follow this thread maybe someone posts a solution that will work fine for me..

Hey Guys!

Does the phone automatically restart after running the command "sm partition disk:179.64 mixed 50"? Or how do I know that it worked? Right now it shows me that I used -1449144320,00 B out of 8GB... Or do i have to force a restart?

I think I figured this out: if adopted storage is less than 8GB, it will be shown correct number of used memory (because firmware, I guess, can understand 16GB internal storage because of 16GB M4 version).

So, you should write 30 or 10 instead 50 (it depends on your memory card capacity).

Mine phone didn't restart also after that command.

Maintaining the adoptive partition

Well, how do I explore the adoptive partition?? File manager seems to have no access over it :( ...how do I even manage files in there?? I downloaded two apps from play store but they went to the main internal storage, why is that??

You cant read adoptive partition. Only you phone can ... Stock apps are stored in internal but when you download fresh new app (facebook, messenger etc. ) This all apps will be stored in adopted partition :)

You can, i was stuck in there too, but it's very simple.
To get access on the adoptive partition, you have to migrate data to it. Go into storage settings, open the adoptive one, click on the settings menu in te upper right and choose "Migrate data" or something, I don't know if that's the right translation. After that, file managers and PC won't see anymore the internal memory, but the adoptive one. I'd raccomand to insert this passage in the guide too. If you want to see again the internal memory, or you want to remove definitively the adoptive one, you just have to do "migrate data" on internal memory.

Thanks.
So this is how we can choose between which partition to make visible?? And after making the adopted one visible, I can control everything inside there?

This is how we can choose the main one, that's all. All the data (multimedia, app data) is transferred from the internal storage to the adoptive one, and it becomes the main one. After making the adopted storage the main one, you can control everything inside just like you did with the internal one.

Even System apps? I wouldn't want Google on the SD card.
