Hi there,

I have found acc in combination with the AccA interface very useful for me. I used to charge my phone (LG G8s Thinq) wirelessly ever since I bought it new and it also worked with my newly bought fast wireless charging station integrated in my night clock.

Now a few days wireless charging stopped to work all the sudden. It does not work on neither of my 3 wireless chargers (different brands). Wired charging still works normally. The qi chargers range from old crappy model over old but reliable 5W-model to the 10W new model in my night clock.

I can not get wireless charging to work again even now that I installed LineageOS 19.1 and therefore reset my phone completely (I did not work with backup)

I would like to help to debug what happened and maybe get my integrated qi charging back. Please advice me which informations you need. I have rooted the phone and can gain adb access.

You can also PM me if it does not fit in this forum.

Thank you!

Best regards
LeFish

Fingers crossed but I think I've finally got acc working on my Pixel 7 pro. I tried different switches and the custom config file that was pm'd without much success. For the umpteenth time I removed acc from the phone entirely and then reinstalled it. Using acc -t with the wireless charger that I prefer to use I got a new switch that tested good (and for idle too). "maxfg/offmode_charger 0 1". Been using it for almost 24 hours now. So far so good. Also set mcv 4100 and mcc 1000, acc 75 70. Seems to be working both wired and wireless with idle enabled. Will continue testing as other switches that would work for a while would suddenly not work any more. I have done most of my configuring in termux or with acc settings gui.

Updating my Nothing Phone 1 to latest 1.1.4 NothingOS broke ACC. It's a clean install and it charges to 100% (I've set it to 80%) but low battery shutdown works at 5%. I'm not getting any error messages either this is the config I've been running with. Had it working perfectly fine until the updates. It's a copy-paste from someone earlier in this thread. Do bear in mind that I don't just copy-paste the config.txt file I actually type in all the changes on the default one. Am I missing something here? I'd really appreciate if someone could help me out with this. BTW the nothing phone 1 now supports fast charging and maybe that's my issue? The config.txt files location is in: /data/adb/vr25/acc-data/

Seems one of my 4 xiaomi redmi note 7 is damaged or something.
Using ACC it charges after the limit and sometimes stop and sometimes start again for no reason
I set 40 start and 80 stop
After isntalling a new system, I was using lineageos 18.1 android 11 on all my redmi note 7, and ACC is working well on 3.
This special one isnt working very well, I installed FORK OS 19.1 android 12. And the problem still here.
Not sure what to do now, right now, with good temps, and at 89%, is charging for 1-2 minutes, stop for 30 secs - 1 minute and start again.
Even with clean new profiles is doing this.
Any idea? maybe is just damaged by hardware level

Please, upload a screenshot of your settings in the frontend and the configfile.

... just sent you a pm
Can you please send me your configuration too?
I am trying to figure it out how to set it properly on my new Pixel 7. Until now I just figured that it is necessary to disable adaptive charging in the System Settings in order to not compete with acc settings, but I'm not sure about the whole configuration that I am currently using.
Thanks in advance!

This worked pretty well but I found a better solution for my Pixel 7 Pro. I updated acc to the latest dev build (acc -u dev). Then tested configs. The first one I chose to try is (gcpm/constant_charge_current_max 1866420 0). It is working perfectly. Pausing and charging as it should. Idles too. I didn't change max current or voltage. The one above kind of missed the target pause / charge and had to play with mcv, mcc. Not with this new setup.

Does anyone know what gcpm stands for? Just out of curiosity.

So what do I need to install and set to make ACC work on pixel 7 pro?.
I'll be closely following this. It was a buggy mess on my Pixel 2 XL, and I eventually gave up trying it. The adaptive charging on the pixel 7 pro is really, really, really good. Sometimes I'll wake up in the middle of the night and look at the battery percentage. After 4 hours or so. It may have only gained 30 or 40%. It really does a nice trickle charge when it knows that you can afford the time. I just wish I could cap the max percentage at 80. If that were native to AOSP, this module would not be needed because all the trickle charging and stopping functions are already baked in I think.

What configs are you referring to?

Can you link us to the download? I looked in the OP, at the listed GitHub there, and 1-2 other links in the thread. I'm not seeing a dev -u build. Are these configurations you say you got working available at the same link location?

The downloads are on Github. On Github there are the master builds and the dev builds. Github isn't the friendliest. Think of it as a learning activity :) The master build has the released version from June 4th. From there you can also get to the dev build. The dev build I have is from 7/30. There is a lot of very detailed documentation that I realize is difficult for some to navigate. acc dev -u works from a terminal app like termux. The gui friendly developers have not kept up with the underlying acc builds that vr25 has built. They are ok to a certain extent but I still recommend that you look at the documentation because the guis aren't fully compatible. I am not the expert really. I just have been figuring it out as I go along. Acc has been working perfectly on my 4xl and think that I've found the perfect setup for 7pro....maybe... but looking good so far. YMMV.

Is there any update with your findings? I can't get wireless charging work in any ways.. wire charging works perfectly fine though.. I'm latest Jun build

Same here, still no wireless charging. No message from any of the devs.... This is simply one level to high for me to get working on my own.
I bought a qi-charging pad which plugs into the USB-C port of the phone. Yet I still long for the internal phones qi charging function...
I am still willing to do tests if anyone advices me!

Those who are worried about other projects of mine not being updated for a long time, possibly abandoned...
    Stop worrying.
After the next stable ACC release, I'll focus more on the other Magisk modules (fbind, Migrator, Systemless GApps, etc.).
The current ACC framework is the base of all the other projects - meaning, making it rock stable it priority #0.
    29
A new stable release is up.
It can be downloaded from Magisk Manager > Downloads as well.
Refer to the readme for a full list of changes, features and recommendations.
Now I'll be focusing more on the other projects (migrator, fbind, systemless GApps, daily job scheduler...).
Until these reach satisfactory status, acc will only get occasional maintenance updates (bugfixes, optimizations, new charging control files...).

Edit: the installer enforced by Magisk Manager is not playing nice with acc. Until I fix that, use the zip from GitHub (release link above).

    Edit 2: fixed.
