did someone installed the daily builds with this method cause i cannot?, tried several times but after reboot i get black screen with back light.
tried to change the resolution to 12 nothing happens still the same, i see it's running because when i press power button the backlight turns off.
It works well with mwc builds but not with daily builds
nikez, please can you have a look at, maybe something changed in the ubuntu package?

OK I did it correctly this time. Checked md5 and it boot but I have no video. Its just black if I press the power button it locks if I press it again it unlocks and turns on. That's it

For daily builds look at links in the "gazalan" video some post before. I'll try today and see if it works

Is there any way to flash Ubuntu Touch via Mac OS X (it has same tools in command line(like sudo and others)) or Windows?

OS X better then Windows, because I have only virtual machine Windows installed. Any way to flash?

and also, how to make a NANDROID backup in CWM?! I did only simple backup using "backup to external SD".

Wrong thread, but I can't be bothered bumping up the old one. I have finally gotten ION to work on Pyramid. It still needs a lot more work (Camera does not work at all.. Audio doesn't work either). Needs a bit more tweaking before I release any build.



Edit: Audio is working.

ION is the new unified memory management
architecture that Google is advancing. Prior to ION,
every SoC manufacturer had their own way of
doing memory management. Qualcomm's was
pmem, Nvidia's was nvram, etc. It made it's debut
as an option in ICS and is preferred in JB. Being
unified also means that it is a good candidate for
integration into the Linux kernel mainline, which
would mean that Android would no longer require
it's own separate branch of Linux.

Google actually introduced ION into Ice Cream Sandwich, so it applies to ICS ROMs as well.

He's busy with his personal life until next week. He got Kernel 3.0.8 booting on the Desire yesterday so he's taking a break.

Canonical is saying it will be ready for daily usage for dev's by the end of May with working 3G etc. hope Nikez will update the guide to make it work for our sensation until then

I can't get past the screen saver the local host.It asks for a password and I put in Ubuntu but it won't take it any suggestions.

I've got the weekend off, and my phone's a Sensation. I know my way around a terminal, and am fluent in HTML/CSS and bits of PHP/SQL. Otherwise noob to actually building code apart from premade make.sh scripts.

But who cares?! Let's see if I can't brick my phone!
