Looks like the Advent Vega is out £249, sorry, but I can't post link...it's on the PC World website. No mention of Flash?? Same as the Folio launch, have to check in store.

Just been to the mega store at M6 J9, they've not got stock nor have they had deliveries. They said next few days, but no guarantees.

I went in today to my local PCWorld and they hadn't even heard of it. I showed them their website with it on and they jut shrugged and said they didn't know! I have read on the net somewhere that the 18th is the release date too!
Was in PCW in leeds earlier today and they had displays setup for them inbetween the galaxy tab and the folio... i didnt try to ask about them as talking to pcw staff is against my religion

I've just had a look on PCWorld's web site and it seams that the Advent Vega is no longer listed on there! I wonder if they've pulled it for good or just setting it up for selling?
Just called PC-World (0844 561 0000) => confirmed that the due date is/was today, but there's no Advent Vega in stocks, and no estimated time of arrival...ahh, the joys of vaporware
Just been to PCW Poole, and they say they expect delivery before the weekend, so fingers crossed. They haven't been told anything about it being pulled (yet) anyway.
most tablets running tegra 2 are either being pulled off shelves or delayed indefinitely.
Gtablet and folio are out but they both have serious issues out of the box. i wouldnt count on the advent vega having better experience, but then again, i dont own a vega nor have i tried it. but do have a folio and i believe that its worth holding on to it, at least until next wednesday.

Nah, if you used my hyperlinks above they are "private" links that point directly to webpages which are now obsoleted (i.e. impossible to find via the public interface, like the website's search tool). The Currys page actually completely disappeared, whereas the PC-World one is still "alive"...probably a bug / human error.

Sigh.....I was really hoping they would release it but I guess they care too much about the common consumer who doesn't know how to get the best out of android. Still hopefully going to check PCworld croydon or some place on saturday, I'll probably resort to saying "C'mon I know it's there behind that "staff only" door"
