After downloading SPCUtility.apk to my phone the App comes up just like the picture

however when I press the read spc button I get an error message that says/ A fatal error has occurred. Could not change SPC. Please ensure you downloaded the application for your particular phone./ The phone is definitely a Moto x / xt1056 and almost new I have not made any changes to the original system setup. I will appreciate any help or information that will help me win this battle.

Perhaps you can tell us what you are trying to accomplish here?

So far I have not seen this utility used with a Moto X. I'm thinking whatever you are trying to do is simply not possible on the Moto X.
