After wiping all the data and cache etc. my phone suddenly stops charging

After wiping all the data and cache etc. my phone suddenly stops charging and got stuck to 4%. But I am able to boot into twrp recovery mode and while using recovery mode battery goes down to 3%. I have connected the charger to the phone but no led light is showing up nor TWRP is showing + sign after battery percentage. What should I do, please help?
