i wanted to know...how come this cpu runs at 1GHZ and many retailers say at their commercials and product infos that it runs at 1,5ghz. as far as i know the official product is this with 1Ghz and there is not different (faster ) version.... Do the retailers O/C it or something or is something else like lying about the specs?

There is no problem setting the CPU to 1200MHz, but it will get a bit hotter and the battery will run out faster. 1.5GHz is a fraud, the A31 Allwinner CPUis 1200MHz from factory...So the Novo Spark has underclocked it...

1. How can I update to latest 4.2 ?
2. How to fix the rotation ? I want to use it in potrait mode always but when i disable rotation, it goes landscape mode by default. anyway i can change it ?
3. Anyway to get rid of the lag ?

Go to slatedroid forums and follow the guide to install cyanogenmod 10.2. That will pretty much solve all of your problems

Seriously, I use this SDK for the base of other 3.2 firmwares. Stable, fast.
Seriously, I use this SDK for the base of other 3.2 firmwares. Stable, fast.Web browsing and the general feel is much faster. Now I can browse the web with Firefox, Chrome and the standard reader good.
On the downside, games does not work as good, some lag, and it does not go as fast and smooth as with Iron Mod V3
...I don't have a clue... I'm not sure if I've ever tested the camera at all.

Just purchased one of these myself and was happy enough with the device... until about 5 mins ago.
I bought the 1.5GHz, 2GB RAM, 16GB Storage version.
When looking at the storage space, I could see only 1GB system partition and 12 GB storage 13/16GB. I could write off the other 3GB as filesystem and partitioning loss (although this seems a lot to lose).
Then looking at the specs in Android System info, I can the the device is only reporting 1.5GB RAM. Now, this is unacceptable and I can think of no reason why I would be losing 0.5GB RAM.
Then it occurred to me that the other 0.5GB could be used by the GPU. Does anyone know if this is the case - or even if this occurs on tablets?
If I can't find a good reason for the missing 3GB storage and 0.5GB RAM, it will be returned. Which is a shame as I was quite happy with the device until it started to look like I hadn't got what I had paid for.
Can anyone else verify my findings?

-system
-USB Storage
-App storage
And to soothe you: You can not have a tablet with 15 or 13 GB cause only a potency of two is possible.
And yes, the GPU uses ~512MB of ram, so no reason to worry about. Even my Galaxy Note uses ~128MB of the ram.

As I told you: It has to be a potency of two. Or do you know a USB stick with 12 or 10 GB storage?
You mentioned that you reflashed, with which firmware? Some fw only show 1gb while some other show 2gb.
