Well the great Mostafa mentioned in the beta group that there is an experimental burnout profile of his, but he has very little time and is still testing it, however I would expect something soon! But nothing available yet

Ok when applying one of the tweaks I read the log in the terminal and I see 'permission denied' when it's presumably trying to edit system/cpu files.....how can I be sure that the tweaks is properly applied?

well one way of checking would be take before and after screenshots of the kernel management app and check if or at all the values have been tweaked under cpu governors, frequency etc.
also before applying akt tweaks be sure to grant it super user rights

It really isn't laziness, it is genuine lack of time.

I wasn't talking about you laziness, but OUR laziness. You know how the things work on the internet, especially on forums like this one: no one reads the whole thread, you just open a thread and download the thing that you want to download and close the tab right after!

No not a single one. Use it on lightning and elemental mostly. Also some moments on flash. Tried different settings (performance and balanced) and haven't had a single problem.

On Omni 8.1 build 20171225, AKT2.2.2, restoring Stock config, I'm stuck on "1+ Powered by Android" screen
Edit: Strange... Solved by restoring boot.img and wiping dalvik/cache
Edit2: It can't change Block I/O scheduler but I think it's due to the Kernel, no?

Hmm seems like a build-specific issue then...
It's back to OOS for me then. :/
