Did that thrice now. No errors are shown when flashing the zip btw. Any ideas ?
for now, try extracting the zip contents and place the files manually in their respective folders with proper permissions.
@Asiier can you further help him with his problem, should there be any further help required? I am kinda busy finalising my revision for my next exam now

I confirm that the same happened with me on Experience ROM 9.6.
Did the flashing a few times but the result was negative.

I wil try re-flashing the ROM later tonight.

Note: I had no issues anytime on MM on any ROM.

so you think the stricter SELinux is disallowing the zip to flash on Nougat ??

Regarding my profiles FusionB and FusionP are the latest on AKT.
B for balance and P for performance.
The ones on EKM are old.

On our Slack channel we have beta tests that are on the good way.
If you want the latest join us there.
If not try our latest on AKT 1.1
Is akt 1.1 release .? Can't found in the first page.

Whats the best rom to combine with a profile to get the bwst battery life.. Im on RR with Xana battery.. Its lagging a bit.. Any suggestions what do u guys use for a rom+profile with a better battery life and smooth use.. Thanks
Try UniquityProject Rom with Xana Profile.
No lagging in normal usage and approx 5-7h SOT

And you can dirty flash if you come from (BJ) RR

Just wipe system, Cache and dalvik

I don't think there is a "best" ROM, I like RR for all the customization. I guess in terms of battery you could go for something strictly AOSP based.

For the profile, If you find XANA laggy you can try Zhana, Fusion B, HawkPepper or even GhostPepper. People like those the most

I only play Vainglory. in stock playing this game cost me like 10% battery for 30 minutes. I don't care how much battery it costs while playing games but I need better result than stock while not playing any games. amd ofcourse I don't want that profile which would give me immense battery life but also reduces the gaming performance.

any suggestion? Thanks.
Go for something Balanced, I think GhostPepper could fit that usage pretty well, it won't increase the battery extremely but it should affect neither the performance and smoothness of the device. Also Fusion B or Zhana.
My recommendation is to try a few yourself and see which one fits your usage the best

Hi guys! Please tell if i do all correct.

-Flash ATK profile
-Open terminal
-"su" and "AKT"
-Selected the XANA Balance

All done ? I have not to use EX Kernel Manager? i have to Disable TouchBoost? If i reboot the phone i have to use Terminal again?

Sorry, but it's my first time with tweaks :D
Yeah, that's everything.

If no errors are shown you should be good to go. Unless you want to modify something yourself, in that case you can use EXKM or any Kernel editor

Keep in mind that you will need to reapply the profile every time you reboot your phone or use a init.d emulator like KA, but I recommend manually reapplying as init.d is pretty inconsistent.

Flashed AKT zip in twrp.
Booted to system
Opened terminal and typed : su and then AKT, but it says AKT: not found.
Am I missing something ? I'm on citrus ROM.

If I am allowed to make a guess...my guess will definitely be YES.
If @SREEPRAJAY is right about that statement there is nothing I can do.

Just extract the files into the right directories and give them 0777 permissions.
That should do the job

First time trying AKT.
OOS OB 11 - Stock kernel - GhostPepper profile
Got 14h standby and 5h SOT with 2h of clash royale on full LTE.

Felt quite satisfied with the result.
However I find performance noticably dropping compared to pure stock. Animations feel slower and occasional framedrop when playing non-demanding games like clash royale. But I can still live with that.

Any suggestions to improve this stats?

Give it a try to other profiles too until you find the one that best fits your usage

I'm sorry @Asiier, as I understand it should perform the tweak by command terminal on each reboot? I'm now using ATK with Zana tweaks.
Thank you very much.
AKT places the selected profile in /etc/init.d/ folder to start at boot, but that would still require kernel init.d support. If your kernel does not have that you can try universal init.d app, which works great for executing init.d scripts after boot.

Maybe @Asiier could add this to the topic since this is asked way too often...
