Alarm not sounding through vibrate/silent miodes

My alarm does not sound out if the phone is on vibrate or silent modes. SGN3 with TW.
My previous Note 2 had no issue with that. I have tried to tinker with the settings but all seems ok. I have factory re-set the phone but the same issue remains. What's the fix?

Firstly, no idea which rom or os you using? 5.0? 4.4?
In 5.0 you will most likely need to set Priority sound mode.
