Alarm snoozing by itself?

I have a Note 8 on ATT and my alarm will go off I will hit snooze. Then it will go off 10min later and I guess it doesn't wake me up. So it will go off for 10 min and snooze itself for 10min instead of going off until I wake up. Anyone else having this problem?

As far as I know, this is common alarm behaviour, even alarms you download from the store. They won't just keep going until the apocalypse. They stop after a while. How long that while is, depends on the app.
