Hi there,

Thanks for this build. I'm in search of a real simple AOSP without GApps to maximize battery life, ability to root (for firewall) and optionally use GPay with NFC.

I tried to flash this mainly because the other ones I tried failed (PixelUI- "not Sutra device" and cRDroid- "blablabla A/B partitions").

Despite being unable to flash the 2 ROMs indicated above, this one went flawlessly:
-Flashed TWRP 3.5.2-10.0 under Linux adb with fastboot --disable-verity --disable-verification flash vbmeta vbmeta.img
-Wiped everything (including data ofc)
-Launched ADB Sideload in TWRP
- In Linux shell used "adb devices" to confirm connection
- In Linux shell used "adb sideload PathToROM/ThisROM.zip" (in fact typed adb sideload and moved Zip file into the Shell)
- Wait and pray, didn't touch anything when the Recovery screen went off, followed percentage advancement in linux shell.
- Rebooted immediately after successful download-flash

I'm still to try to use the ROM, but at least it's the first I was able to flash to my RMX2155 that became an RMX2151 after the bootloading unlock and region change.

Thanks @albatron34000 for this ROM and @OrthodoxOxygen for bootloader unlock procedures and tools!

Thank @SwizzRM7 , too! Played an important part in testing and whatnot. The guide was only completed thanks to his cooperation. Hopefully DotOS treats you well, hehe.

any feedback on the ROM? stability, issues, camera?
- is it based on realme stock rom as stated in the title "RUI based"?
- how about safetynet?

Didn't try Safety Net. If my bank-apps don't work it's because of lack of Gapps.

So far only problems I've seen: the customization of icons doesn't hold, reverts back to round shapes. BT, wifi OK, didn't use NFC. Auto adjust for brightness is OK-ish, still too bright to my liking. Some realme apps are there, mainly use smart charging.

The customization thingy was not great, overall have prefered a clean AOSP but works fine.

The camera goes only up to 12M in OpenCamera, rendering is quite ****ty if that's the thing you're into (I'm not)
