That is common now in other roms since Pie, you can also go into magisk, go to modules and then click the three dot menu at the top right and select boot into recovery if you don't want the twrp app

That can be a problem when something is bringing my phone into a bootloop. How do I get into twrp from there?

For a while I've noticed an issue when I get notifications. The majority of apps don't open when I click on it to go into the app. When this happens the notification disappears then I have to manually go into the app. It's slightly annoying. I have cleared cache and data. I'm using the latest version of the ROM if it helps.

If possible, turn off phone

Hold vol up and bixby, then press and hold power button, release power button once you see samsung logo (and it vibrates)

If you can't get it to turn off, you can hold volu down and bixby, then power button, it will cause the phone to hard reboot and you'll have to do the recovery steps above really quickly when the screen is barely off. It might take a couple times, but it's possible.

I've also had a bootloop installing a rom, hard reset and boom it booted up fine, so that's worth a shot too
