They will not work, and if by chance it does start you may end up with a corrupted backup. I know that it's easy to tell someone to buy an app but in this case I would suggest Titanium Backup. If you have a cloud drive (Microsoft, Google etc) then you can tell Titanium to backup to it and you will at least not lose your data. I chose this method as I am constantly testing roms, quirky software and settings that eventually make it that I have to restore. It's a suggestion and hope it helps!

I just got my S6 SM-G920S. I want to flash this ROM in order to de-bloat my phone of the Korean apps that doesn't work out of Korea, which just slows my device. Anyone could link me to a thread where I could root/install custom recovery first so that I would be able to install this promising ROM. Thanks in advance!

P.S I have rooted Samsung Galaxy Tab and Galaxy Grand. I'm a bit experience

are you rooted? I hope so. First have a custom recovery such as twrp. In order to flash this rom and for future nandroid backups. Etc... https://xdaforums.com/galaxy-s6/orig-development/twrp-t3080940/page1

Odin this and then copy the rom to phone. I'm assuming here you you have already backed up all your phone.
Follow steps on OP and you shall be alright. Wiping before flashing this is highly recommended. Don't dirty it.

Amazing rom man. Wish you did some update to it. Although I don't see anything necessary! Just security patches I'm guessing. First rom after 5.1!
I've heard the battery is much better on this rom compared to nougat. Could you provide your experience and a short comparison between both. I think it would be helpful to me and the rest of the following. Thaaaanks[emoji2] [emoji106]

The thing is I haven't started yet, I am at Zero. I'm still looking for threads to root and install TWRP on my SM-G920S. Could you help me? Which comes first root then TWRP...or TWRP first then root? Sorry for this noobish questions, my name says it all.

Only thing stopping us - or me at least - is Xposed. I wish there's a progress on that with Nougat soon.

Well on xda you have to do some homework. Check the page of Galaxy s6. Cf autoroot is there. This will be a base in your future devices when it comes to rooting. Have Odin on your pc, usb drivers, enable developer mode in s6 settings. Usb debugging. Run Odin. Attach supersu pda. Boot into recovery. Flash it using Odin. Done with supersu.
You are now rooted. You can then play around with your phone by installing titaniumbackup and backing up your apps. Debloat certain apps. Etc. Highly recommended you purchase the full version. Worth the investment.
Using Odin also you can flash twrp which allows you to flash custom roms.also twrp is found on s6 threads. Then you can flash your custom rom. Play around bud.
Most of all. Backup so you won't end up crying (past personal experience)

Lag on Galaxy s6

Hi, really wanted to thank you for such an amazing rom. The only issue that I had at first was with the volume but found the fix and it's working great, however I have been having lag with my phone after a day or two and no matter what I do I'm still having issues and becomes really slow. I haven't seen many comments with lag on the rom, so not sure what tips you'd have to make sure that the lag isn't an issue or what rooted apps you'd recommend to speed up the phone?
