Basketbuild is currently down

Since basketbuild is currently down, could you please upload latest build somewhere else?
Thanks in advance

Hi,
Anyone bumped into issues when connecting PC via USB mass storage?
It had worked flawlessly for the past months and then, suddenly broke up a couple weeks ago.
I haven’t done/installed anything special… I am on CM11 XL latest build (20160417).
When connected to USB – I hit “Turn on USB storage” and my sd card is disconetced but no PC connection is made.
I have to reboot the phone to bring back SD storage access again.

I am wondering if flashing zip file (with the current build) would do any good here…

Cheers,

If there's a newer Mini GApps version than when I originally installed LX, can I flash just the new GApps, or do I need to go back and flash LX and GApps at the same time?

(To be specific, I have the most recent LX11 build, 20160417, installed. At that time I installed MDPI_mini-gapps-kk-20160403. Now, it appears a newer GApps is available, MDPI_mini-gapps-kk-20160526, and so I'd like to update that.)

You can just flash the Gapps package; don't forget clearing the Dalvik cache.
Note that the 20160526 Gapps package has been outdated for a while. Google apps update automatically, so you most likely have a newer version on your phone. If needed, you can integrate the updates into the system partition manually or with Titanium Backup (or any other tool).

I have an issue where I can not install gapps on the latest build after a fresh install. Setupwizard fails and I cannot continue. I already tried multiple different gapps packages.
The only way I can get gapps working is by flashing the previous build, installing gapps on there and updating to the latest one.

Finally CM11 LegacyXperia 20161025 built arrived. Many thanks !!!!

I have seen CM14 poped up in a changelog - however I don't see a point to try that (as well as CM13) on my mk16i - too slow and not enough memory.

Cheers,

Link2sd issue

Hi,

Did anyone experienced issues with Link2SD being unable to mount external ext2 drive (invalid argument)?
After flashing new rom I can't make it work. I am upgrading from the previous rel. 20160417, to keep all my apps and settings present.

I have went through the google and the only solution seems to be: complete wipe out and clean install.
I am reluctant to do that, my CM11 is packed with apps (133 incl. sys), stuff and so on, and it takes a couple of days to bring it back.
It seems like the rom during flashing breaks link2sd connection with SD card, the soft is unable to recreate mounting scripts. There is nothing wrong with SD partitions etc. I am restoring backup based on the previous CM11 release (20160417) and it works again flawlessly.

Cheers,
e.

I'm using the latest build (20161025) with my Mango (SK17i) fresh install, last Gapps for KK (20161025), last Link2SD version and works fine. The only bugs i’ve managed to find (for now) are (well, i do not know how to define what i say) some screen tearing effect (although much lower than the previous build) and cutting effect on the left side of the screen when scrolling up&down in landscape mode. Also continues the wrong color calibration, i need to reduce green setting to 88% for same colour calibration than ICS Stock Rom, it would also be necessary to adjust the contrast but we have no control over that parameter ¿Do you know about an application to make these adjustments?

@Tromponauta - thanks :), well I do not have those bugs on mk16i latest built looks great and seems to work faster.

@myself - I have carried out a fresh install, wiped out and did a factory reset. Link2SD didn't work either. So it's not a problem with the build. I have switched to APP2SD (after 2 years on Link2SD) and it works OK now. - [edit] GAPPS zip didn't install correctly :).

No issues with the (20161025) build - apart from a tiny one - there are no bookmarks stored on google account. When adding a new bookmark nothing to choose just Local.

Cheers,

I have the same issue, How did you fix it?

Ok, I fixed it by reflashing the old boot.img, then boot in recovery, then wipe everything (cache, user, davlik), and then reflashing the boot.img from the latest rom_update.zip.

The latest CM11 ROM is working great, but I have a battery issue . the battery holds very well in airplane mode (lost only 3-4% during the whole night), but is losing more than 15% per hour, in standby, when connected to GSM and/or wifi.
This is the reason I updated, I hoped the update would have fixed this issue. Any ideas about how to fix this?

Is it at all possible your battery simply needs to be replaced?

I have thought of it, but in that case, shouldn't the battery also deplete faster than normal in flight mode? In the screenshot attached, you can see that in flight mode, the battery loses only ~1% per ~8 hours. The very steep line at the beginning of the graph is when I disable flight mode.

Kernel/Recovery

Hey guys, haven't used my Mini Pro in a while, decided to update it today to the latest release (20161025), installed the kernel, rebooted, but it's kind of stuck here, can't interact with it any ideas? Already tried fastboot erase system and
fastboot erase userdata but it didn't work. Thank you very much.

    Here's a status update:

    - Rebased & cleaned up the new audio HAL
    - Some fixes ported from msm8660 audio HAL
    - Fix in audio HAL for VOIP apps like Skype and Line
    - Fixed coconut stereo speakers
    - Testing some changes from CAF jb_2.5.3 branch in frameworks/av related to LPA audio issues
    - Testing some camera changes again, should be the most stable we can have at the moment
    - Disabled 720p again. It's unstable and needs more testing. Will work on it again after the first ION build release
    - Testing change to fix "bootlogo appearing while in android" bug
    - Tested FM and made some additional changes but still don't get audio. Will work on it again after the first ION build release
    - Kernel: some interactive governor updates
    - Kernel: increase ION_MM size. Should fix out-of-memory issues with some apps like netflix

As usual, I push all my changes on github so you can test building.
I would appreciate if you don't share any more home builds here, I will release some builds myself when some more bugs are ironed out.
