Right hopefully I'm finally in the right place!
I am on my second Xperia T that keeps rebooting during calls, suspected to be some sort of glitch with the screen locking and wifi on at the same time so I want to try the latest Sony update.
I have previously updated a phone to a custom ROM but on the firmware thread in this forum some dodgy English outlines some additional steps:
- for now Binary method doesnt work so you hawe to
- unlock your boorloader
- flash this kernel -
http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=1922925
- download superuser zip (on website or here -
https://rapidshare.com/files/3415386...arm-signed.zip)
- put zip to your internal memory
- flash it via Recovery, root will work (tested on my device)
i flashed that kernel, then i have to flash superuser in recovery. the only thing i have to know now is how to get in to recovery mode.
edit: it seems that superuser is included in that kernel ?? i notice it in my app drawer."
So I think I understand that I have to:
1) Unlock the bootloader via Sony
2) Use a flash tool to flash the kernal to support CWM
But I would really appreciate some clarification on the next step(s)
3) So as above, is super user included so I can skip this step? Or otherwise what do I do with superuser.zip? Flash is with the standard recovery?
4) Then install CWM and then at last run this firmware update?
Thanks for help, and patience!
