Broken Earpiece
I am experiencing same problem with my sky vega a830L. My sound is sometimes low or worst it has no sound. but sometimes it has. Im afraid to open my sky vega. I dont know what to do if i open it. Can you give me suggestions? thanks very much . Godbless
FIXED IT! its a hardware problem!
with a little skill and nail and knife (yes knife, i dont have screwdriver at the moment), I pry open my 830L... try to look whats the problem..(i suspected the hardware prob because when i put my phone upside down, the volume increase by a little bit. very little (glad im an audiophile, i can sense the volume increase, not just placebo).
when i open the phone, i tested the speaker manually and found that its working good. but when connected to phone, it became soft.
so i check around and found that the connection isnt good. when i apply pressure at the connection port, the volume increase tremendously!
so my solution, i clean a little bit of the port and the connect the speaker wire back to the port, apply a little bit pressure. and voila! my speaker back to superb condition, wayyy Louder than iphone4s (screw them!) .
and thats that, problem solved, warranty voided LOL. heck care, bought the phone overseas, sending for warranty service is a hassle enough.
for those who got low volume, try to apply pressure at the back of the phone,precisely, left of the back camera. The plastic that doesnt connected to the whole back shell, right under that is the speaker port. apply some pressure to see difference. try to put something to wedge under the plastic if u arent dare enough to open the cover and clean as what i did.
thats all!
its not cm10 that causes the sound prob. nor the software. am now back as a happy vr2 830L user
