Defective HW. Its because of the heatpipe by the trigger. It thinks you are pressing it.
Anyone else having problem that 55watt charging will sometimes keep turning on and off over and over I think it might be an overheating precaution? As I usually try and charge after playing. It's not hardware issue because I can still get 55watt charging other times. Was just wondering if the phone being hot is the problem or if it's a bug?
And also, the DRM level will stay on L3.
Plus, FP can be fixed by a special jig, which can be bought by contacting customer support. Or you can just mail your device back for recalibration

You have any thoughts on the trigger issue? Should I wait for a software update to fix this or send device back for repair as most people have commented it's probably a HW issue?
The accessories I bought a month ago still haven't arrived so a bit skeptical about sending the phone back. Don't know when or even if I'll get it back!

Anyone else have issues connecting to their carrier's data plan? Im on a service that uses T-moblie towers in the US.
Quick issues/suggestions so far for me:
1) Trust agent seems not to be working. To unlock without security in my house location and trusted devices like car BT.
2) Nova launcher (yes saw will be updated in next update).
3) Would be cool to have option for fan to work without gaming mode. Hot summers in car might need some extra cooling.
4) Turn on display on notification should turning on only amoled/text.

I got the issue - Sim Toolkit not working. Sending request from web, but no sPIN popup for confirmation
I'm definitely having issues with my trigger buttons as well. Even after updating to 311 on my NA RedMagic 5G. The sensitivity settings don't seem to make a difference. I experience most of my issues in my sports games that require a pressure and release kind of motion on the trigger buttons. For example, in NBA 2K20, I can't assign the shoot button to a shoulder button because it only registers a single tap and not a long press and release. but if i use the button on the screen, it works just fine. That same NBA 2K20 game works flawless on my RedMagic 3S. So I'm not sure if its hardware related or its the Nubia Game software. Either way, it's sad that Nubia seemed to have it working flawless on the RedMagic 3S but the 5G manages to go backwards in performance. Some of the other games I play include, VR Tennis, MKX, Injustice, etc....and they all play fine as long as i don't assign any buttons to the shoulder triggers. But that defeats the purpose now of having shoulder trigger buttons. I'm waiting patiently to see if and when that gaming software gets updated.

You probably bought china version with global rom on it. They have these issues.

I'm a user of the Red Magic 5g. I bought it recently and I really like it a lot. I got it with version 4.09 and it barely has any bugs.
But I have a big question that I would appreciate very much if you could clarify it for me please.
I understand that the batteries degrade with every charge and that it's not good to play while it's charging either; plus it's very difficult to replace them... Are we looking at a terminal with a short life?
I think a solution would be to put a smart charge (Lenovo style).
That is, charge only up to 60% while playing. That way you could avoid problems, at least some of them.
I have seen that mobiles like the Blackshark 3 have a dual battery system that supposedly gives them more durability.
This topic seems important to me, why is a mobile phone useful without its battery?
And more so if it is a mobile made to play.

Thank you for the latest v.3.13 update - the ability to set a custom launcher has made a huge difference. The June security update is also great to see. Keep up the good work!
There are a few minor bugs that need some attention:
1. Using the Recents menu to clear all tasks will return you to the default Nubia launcher - you need to press the home button again to return you to your chosen launcher. It should just return you to your chosen launcher by default.
2. No app pinning option available.
3. Being able to set a dynamic wallpaper for the lock screen would be welcome.
4. It would be nice if the navigation buttons would auto-hide with a swipe up action to reveal them. It seems to work with some apps but not all. (hopefully Google will allow gesture navigation in alternate launchers soon).
5. ARCore support - surprising a gaming phone doesn't have this.
Finally, I saw that ”App cloning" is searchable in the options but not available - I hope we'll see this in a future update.

Wow. I'm on V4.09 but I guess you have CH version? I can't wait fo custom launcher update.
It's not Chinese it's non-eu meaning us and others.
The eu version is also updated. Search for new versions on different places
