Ok, in order to keep all the reviews in one place, I have created this thread.

My review of the Huawei Watch went live this morning - http://gavinsgadgets.com/2015/09/21/huawei-watch-my-review/

If you have any questions please ask, and I will happily try and answer them. Also, I have personally owned and own many smart watches and wearables , so could also try and answer comparison type questions.

2 day max. Personally I recharge it when I have a shower, so recharge it everyday.
2 days max? thats amazing. but thats with screen always on (ambient mode)? so i guess you go about 24 hours on a single charge with screen always on mode. what is the percentage of battery left at that point?

Well i do have one complaint. Compared to my urbane, the screen is not as bright, especially ambient mode. Its impossible to see outside in daylight. My urbane was always readable.

That's a downside to AMOLED, which gets much better battery life in ambient mode due to tbr nature of the tech.

IMO, LG makes the best watch displays. (brightness and color are perfect) Phones, I still think my buddy's LG G3's screen looks much better than my Note 3.
To me it's all about personal taste.

I.e I read about people saying that the LG G4 has a better screen quality than the Note 5 while to me it's completely madness. ;)

Don't think that's a fair comparison as they're from different generations. Better to compare LG G3 with Note 4.

Black metal

Hi, would you comment on the quality of the band, and the black coating?

Also, on promotions pictures, it seems the black frame of the watch has a "brushed effect", does it look as cool as it appears to be?

I don't mind the leather band of the cheaper model, but am really wondering if the brushed black metal is worth the extra 100$.

Thank you,

David
