OTA MiniDarkTheme by Trinev for Alliance Rom

MiniDarkTheme by Trinev

Recovery Flashable MiniDarkTheme by Trinev[ for Alliance Rom

MiniDarkThemAllianceRomFlashable.zip
Thanks, but could you pack it as an OTA visual?

The point of OTA visuals is that they only change the images (and some xml) inside the apk so they don't interfere with any mods in the Rom now or in future.

That way the theme can be used even if Robbie makes changes to framework or sysui.

The first zip is an OTA VISUAL AS STATED don't know what you are talking about, the second one is clearly only for Alliance V3 only

Having a little trouble with my signal mod... Getting overlap. Any ideas?
so if you are not affraid to edit this , this would be your solution.

Decompile SystemUI.apk with dependancy of twframework-res.apk and framework-res.apk.

browse to SystemUI/res/layout/tw_signal_cluster_view.xml and search for this line

Code:
<ImageView android:id="@id/mobile_signal" android:layout_width="wrap_content" android:layout_height="wrap_content" />
add the following before the closing tag of that line ( /> )

Code:
android:layout_marginLeft="2.0dip"
compile SystemUI , extract the xml from the apk and add it to you ota visual

I was wondering, can the theme engine push a decompiled XML? Or does it then become a game of cat and mouse, where the theme uses the whole APK file / broken upon update / etc?
not decompiled only compiled :)

resources.asrc goes as well ( compiled values folder )
but this would make the visual firmware dependant when changes occur in the firmwares

Firmware dependant is exactly what I'm trying to avoid...

XML need to be recompiled and then extracted from the apk
Interesting. I might try that with this:

But until then, here is what I have now...

My contribute. Just some backgrounds for settings and such.

I don't know which ones you guys would like or not.
Some feedback would be nice. :)
I just hope that you guys don't think all of them suck.

Edit: The abstract background maybe aint that "abstract" but hey.. i had no better name for it.

hey nick,

thanks a lot for ur work :good:

I installed the Signal_G14_Wave and looks really cool
Thanks man! I appreciate that. That one was actually a bit time consuming. The original icons were this tapered shade of blue, so I had to go through each image and color it in white pixel by pixel ;)

..Now if only more people would join in and contribute :D

Once the UOT comes back online, we can just pump out all white icon sets and zip them into the OTA format :good:
