I've started digging through the files from the Note 5, and I think I can get some of the new features working on our phones.

Is there anything in particular that anybody would like me to try to get working?
This isn't really from note 5 but anyway you can get ac3 support on the native video player like we could on 4.4.2

Hey. I just updated to v10 from rooted Alliance V7. Every time I tried updating, I lose root. The included towelroot says it doesn't work on my device and I am unable to use titanium or reinstall safestrap. What am I missing here?

EDIT: I was mistaken. Root works. However I cannot seem to get Safestrap working at all. I've uninstalled and reinstalled quite a few times now.

EDIT 2: After some thread searching, I found that the introduction is incomplete.

1. It does not mention to install the OC1 kernel at all...or that it even exists.
2. It makes no mention that Safestrap is only accessible from the power menu.

This would've been valuable information to have at the start.

It's in op. Scroll down to v8 change log towards bottom. Sorry not awake enough to function for screen grab but awake enough to fact check.

Based on what you wrote you should have known that step same as nc2 and oc1 and now oc2.

The stolen air command window. LOL
But I'd love to have that Spen feature where you can right on the lock screen when it's still dark.

I'm still trying to figure out where the stolen Air Command is lol. On the N3 and N4, all the Air Command stuff is handled by a group of smali files in services.jar, but those files on the N5 are identical to the N4's, so they must've put it somewhere else.

The screen off note-taking is the main thing I'm interested in too. I've found some stuff related to it, but I have a feeling the majority of it is going to be in S Note, which unfortunately, is API 22. If it comes down to it, I may just make an app to mimic the functionality. Hoping that won't be necessary, though.

That is Sammy for you, the gods of making things complicated for no useful reason.
That would be great. And hey, if you get stuck somewhere, just steal their sh!t and modify it just like they stole yours. Lol

Does anyone know if xposed works on this rom? I was reading back through this forum and there have been people who got xposed working and those who advised against it. What's the verdict?
