Thanks, next time Ill do some investigating before I ask. Now 100% loving the rom :silly:You can already do that on this ROM. Its in the custom settings.![]()
+1Lol. I've never noticed it either. When I tried to look at it the first time it was unreadable to my old eyes and zooming made it choppy. I'd love love love to see a higher quality version of it.![]()
I admit I am a noob and I thought I had a good grasp on most mods and customization but these color settings for these different areas of the rom are like Chinese arithmetic to me. HELP!!! LolThanks! that did the trick
also maybe could someone do a guide of the color settings? or help me with some lingo here?
what is notification title and clear text? I have this set as yellow so i know what it is when I see it but I dong see anything
Ticker Text Color is the text you see that shows at the top of your phone to notify you about a notification right?
What is pop up headers? Toast? Spinners and Slider color?
any idea how to get rid of that black floating 3 button menu? i've seen it on all 3 S5 based Roms for the Note 3. But your ROM by far is the best (and still supported)
I've noticed this issue as well.Awesome ROM so far I'm using kk v4. One question- is anyone else getting random reboots? Several times throughout the day my phone will do a quick reboot. It tends to happen as the screen is turning off. I did a clean install on the stock slot. Any ideas are appreciated!

Over the past 6 months or so ive been on many different roms. I could probably count the amount of random reboots (on any rom ive used) on one hand.I've noticed this issue as well.
It's only a mild inconvenience to me, and the phone reboots quickly, so I've kind of ignored it.
For which rom base? There will be an update coming soon. Got a few things to hammer out but should be in less than a week.
Note 3 baseFor which rom base?
I'm going to answer this and try to be very careful as I do it. So please bear with me and take it in the manner it is intended. Yes there is battery drain issues and definitely if you compare it to stock. We believe it is related to the mismatch between the kernel and the rom base, but there is very little that can be done about it on our locked bootloader. RErick has been working on it and trying to fix it. You should not compare battery life of this ROM to any other ROMs because of this issue.Has anyone experienced higher then average battery drain, I'm losing about 11% an hour with fairly moderate use. GPS and location reporting are off, google now is off, wake lock detector and bat stats don't show anything out of the norm and stock does not drain like this. Anyone have any suggestions?
Battery life as a whole is pretty subjective, I saw posts related to the battery but none of the answers particularly suited what I was looking for. Thanks for the update. I was trying to rule my actual battery out. I will post a battery screenshot once the battery has drained down for a full cycle. Thanks for the prompt response.I'm going to answer this and try to be very careful as I do it. So please bear with me and take it in the manner it is intended. With that said, you should still be able to get about 16-20 hours of battery life with about 3 hours of screen-on time. So the real question is in the 11% per hour drain you are experiencing, how much is your screen-on time. Fairly moderate use is a VERY SUBJECTIVE term and therefore means nothing. What is moderate to you, might be excessive to me. So anytime you are asking for help with battery life it would be good to include the battery screenshot and the screen-on screenshot so we can judge just how moderate you are using the phone.
Ok, so now that I answered that, I do have to ask if you have read any of the posts before this one. You would not have to read far...only like the last 3 pages and you would have seen NUMEROUS questions and posts about this battery life.
Hope this helps you and continues to help others so that we can move on from this battery life question until RErick has had a chance to update the ROM and try and get this under control.

So you're going back to the V3 base?Note 3 base

Also the issue could be made worse by an app that is not playing nicely. Wakelock Detector is a great app for tracking down battery life issues. Maybe give it a go and see if the drain can be reduced a bit for your situation.Battery life as a whole is pretty subjective, I saw posts related to the battery but none of the answers particularly suited what I was looking for.
