I went ahead and changed between Apex and TouchWiz and still encounter the same problem. Does not change drop down menu when changing themes in both Launchers. Not sure what to do at this point.

Delete the Alliance folder on the SDCard and then open alliance manager again and choose a new theme.

It sounds to me like you are wanting to change the toggle background and the drop down header. Changing those in Colors...Backgrounds...then Dropdown header and/or Toggles should be able to make those transparent.

Also, to change the colors of the toggles themselves (when on and when off), you can choose, Colors...unlinked colors....toggles. That is where to find the ON/OFF colors for the icons themselves.

If you would like to change the actual type of icons used for toggles, that is found in...Statusbar and Toggles...Toggle options...Toggle Icon style.

Yeah I finally found those settings digging into the settings more. Figured out how to change the colors, but the problem with the icon theme not going dim to identify the option was turned off. But got it all sorted. Thanks for the advice and help to all who replied.

How did you make your toggles look like power buttons or whatever you call them? I can't find that option. I'm on the N3 base.

Push it to the OTA section if you want. If not, then whatever it is. I just want try more new things.
Did you ever get to that double vibration thing when hitting the menu button? Not that I care. I don't even notice it anymore.

I honestly don't know, on the fit, I just have it set up to literally look like to my phone to tell time and I use the heart rate monitor while working out.

Im fixin to take the plunge my friends. Its ben eatin at me. Reason im hesitant is I flashed a rom over stock slot on my s4 and it totally screwed my software up. It took 3 days of odin, tar files and zip files to restore it.
And I was told to do it that way. Enough people have reported this workin for the N3. So im gonna flash on stock slot. Im running firekat right not on slot 1 . Just reactivate stock slot, backup, wipe and flash? Im not even gonna try the rom customizer cuz I kno I dont have that script to reboot to SS. Pls jump in and tell me if on the correct path

Skip the rom customizer and do everything from safe strap, you'll be fine. Yes, backup that stock room on your stock slot. Make sure to wipe all but SD under advanced wipe, DO NOT format the SD.
If for some reason something happens, which I doubt, it takes 20 minutes to fix via carl's fix.

under rom customizer Ota downloads than go to new updates when I download something from there and than reboot than under Ota updates the folder for new updates be gone. Also I been trying to flash alliance theme settings icon I get it to download but when flashing in as it always fail so it's not letting me flash. I'm trying to change the settings icons using that Ota download.
