This fix doesn't work anymore as it should on latest XXUCNJ1, even XXUCNI1, firmware for GT-I9506.
Samsung has made changes to the original file. Your file for XXUCNG3 is to old. It sometime work, but most of the time it's not. Even changing build.prop doesn't work. Can work on stock kernel, but with insecure kernel the problems appears. If it finally gets working, it's lagging very much.
If you look at the file size, original vs your old file, 5kb size change.
I really hope you're able to make this work 100% on the GT-I9506, running XXUCNJ1, De-Odexed, rooted and insecure kernel.

Has been tested and it didn't work.
I tested it both on the original and patched one. Funny thing is; the first time after flashing an insecure kernel it actually works with the patched one. But after phone has been switched off or rebooted, it stops working.

Looks like something tests if a certain bit is set or not. I've even seen it work after using TA. But then it quickly stops working again.

Attn all exynos users...simply add the line wlan.wfd.hdcp=disable to the bottom of your build prop & reboot then u should have working screen mirror with custom kernel and/or recovery. This is not my finding but I have personally tested on my tab S...not sure of the original source of this info so please thk @esgie

That is correct...just add the line followed by a Reboot

I've already found and posted the stock libs for myself and others. Thanks for extending the patch to snapdragon devices, I'll be porting it to other devices soon.

Can you please port it for galaxy note tab 10.1 2014 edition 3g version on kk 4.4.2 stock rom. I tried to use the lib made for exynos by OP but my tab simply freezes while connecting to my tv. Then i have to force restart it. No luck. Please help if you can. Thanks.
