I have a problem with black screen in repose state not return at unblock screen. All black and restart with power button.

Getting a SOD log to report it...

Sounds like a SOD (Sleep of death) to me.
To report that you'll need the last_kmsg log.

How to get it?
When it happen, restart the phone keeping pressed the power button, then launch the terminal and run

su
cat /proc/last_kmsg > /storage/sdcard1/last_kmsg.log

Then you will have it in the root of your sdcard...

How to get the rest of the logs

My battery has gone I'm waiting for a new one in few days.
Was on qwerty rom last version and suffering phone self switch-off when low battery I guess due to battery very swallen ..anyway phonewas usable.
Tried v8 this morning (without data wipe) and found it unusable if phone not connected to charger (working very good when charger connected!!!)
What I mean is seems kernel3 want more power than 2.3 (not when in sleep mode) and strange things may appen if power is not good.
I will try v8 again when new battery come and let you know

Thanks Dhiru, I think that this one rom is almost complete. In my opinion one should not work any more in this one ROM and begin with android 4.3. To this ROM (cm10.1) only it is necessary to work the consumption of battery, is a bit excessive. Thank you very much Dhiru, you are a god

I found that in the latest build the CPU clock speed is limited to 600mhz by default!!!
Due to which the phone was very laggy. But after increasing the max clock speed to 1ghz, the phone seemed fluid.
Also the blacklight issue is back. And no screen flicker.
Sometimes I found that blacklight issue disappears. I guess it happened at 600mhz!

Flashed alpha 8. Till now everything works well. One thing I observed which is really a good thing. In alpha 7 when we wake up phone then it take 2-3 seconds to respond to actually make screen ON (which was a really annoying thing). But in alpha 8 now screen instantly wakes up as soon as we press power button or home button. Superb job Dhiru...!!

Did u (and whoever flashed A8) do clean flash with ddlf2 5files or wipe data & then flashed A8 or flashed A8 directly on A6/7??

Only experienced 2 screen splashing (I don't know if it's the tecnichal word, found my screen with no image, like it's broken, with lots of bars of different colors). Two days ago updated aplications from market (Line, Whatsapp) to latest version and went to sleep (charger connected). Woke up and found my alarm ringing and my screen with this issue. Reboot, go to the bathroom,come back , and again this happen. In the evening flashed Alpha 8. Tonight I woke up the same way, with this issue in the screen.

Try to attached log, but the command doesn't work. Says such location doesn't exist when enter the command

Also, my phone doesn't save my settings of network prefference. I try to set it "WDSPA preffered" but everytime I restart it goes back to "WSDPA only)

When once i pause the track than phone eats sleeping pills,and dont respond to ny of Bt keys, like redial next pause n all until screen turns on manually

It's meant to be like that. Atleast on I9003. The phone will indeed go to sleep with bluetooth enabled. Keeping the phone awake all the time when the bluetooth is on will drain the battery pretty fast, defeating the purpose of using bluetooth headset to answer incoming calls

Phone turned off

Hi,

My phone turned off during the night when it was on charger. It runs the latest Alpha 8 rom, but this happened many times with Alpha 7.
Here are the important lines from last kmsg, full log attached:
[13814.589935] charger: [13814589] rebooting
[13814.590423] SysRq : Emergency Remount R/O
[13814.591827] Emergency Remount complete
[13814.594085] shutdown !!

Hope it helps solving these issues.

On alpha 8 . On beginning I experienced 2 reboots and many sods but then i changed the cpu governor to ondemand and now it's been 2 days and never experienced a single issue. One more thing..
I don't have backlight issue or random flashes. Everything is butter smooth. Thanks dhiru and other contributing developers..

To know which panel you have:

su
cat /proc/cmdline

look for

androidboot.current_panel=[COLOR=RED][B]X[/B][/COLOR]

Where X is one of the following numbers:

0: Sony
1: Hitachi(20mA)
2: Hydis
3: SMD
4: Sony(a-Si)
5: Hitachi(17mA)
