I installed the latest update but!!! i have problem with Viber icant install it. Google play gives me error low free space. I have 1gb on sd card and 8 gb on external sd card. So external sd card cant readed by explorer. When pc connected with my phone external sd card opens but my phone cant see it. Only on CWM works external sd card!!

Viber works fine on the CM 10.2 builds and CM11 builds. Its better if you could flash one of those. :)

Regards

Mostly CM10.2
Its been a good ROM for me.

But hadn't had a chance to try out the new CM11 ROMs for the SL after January cause I moved on to a GS3.

i want to use cm10.2 but which one is okay? cm10.2 by rodero95 or original by dhiru?

I recommend you to try the CM10.2 Alpha 4 by dhiru. :)
Keep an eye on your mobile data usage. As far as I could remember there were some data hungry Google Play services thing going on. But may be it was just me.

Good Luck!

Try with giving root permission to file manager.. It should work...

Hit Thanks if I have helped you..

Thanks for your help but

How to do that? Im using CM 10.2. There is an option in settings -> developer options , for change root access for apps or Apps and ADB.

I clicked apps and adb but results same as before. I didn't find any option to give root permission for file manager.

Thanks in advance.

In file manager settings- general settings- access mode to root.. This is how in cm11

Hit Thanks if I have helped you..

Yes you did.. Thanks. but among X R W S
R= read W=write what about X & S
and also its not allowing to change permissions. its showing that for some security reason you have no permission.
But superuser is granted for file manager...

Anyone tried both this and CM 11 on I9003? Which one would you recommend for daily use (less battery drain, more fluid, less buggish)?

Already recommended CM 10.2 Alpha 4 since CM 11 is a nightly build.[/QUOTE]

The link doesn't work.

    CyanogenMod is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 4.3 (JB), which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.

    Code:
    #include
    /*
     * Your warranty is now void.
     *
     * I am not responsible for bricked devices, dead SD cards,
     * thermonuclear war, or you getting fired because the alarm app failed. Please
     * do some research if you have any concerns about features included in this ROM
     * before flashing it! YOU are choosing to make these modifications, and if
     * you point the finger at me for messing up your device, I will laugh at you.
     */

    CyanogenMod is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. Linked below is a package that has come from another Android project that restore the Google parts. CyanogenMod does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.

    All the source code for CyanogenMod is available in the CyanogenMod Github repo. And if you would like to contribute to CyanogenMod, please visit out Gerrit Code Review. You can also view the Changelog for a full list of changes & features.

    Installation Instructions

    IMPORTANT! READ BEFORE FLASHING!
    1. If you flash this ROM from Stock ROM, it will wipe data due to different partitioning. The device would reboot while flashing and resume again.
    2. Once on this ROM, the most effective way of going back to any other ROM would be to repartition from Odin.
    3. While converting the filesystem, your efs that has your IMEI is backed up to /emmc/backup/efs. Keep a backup on your PC just in case.
    4. Incase if you don't get a network signal, check if your IMEI and Baseband are proper. If not, go back to stock and try again.
    5. Do NOT use Odin to flash Modems. Due to different partitions, Odin will screw up your existing MTD setup.

    Stock ROM
    1. Flash CWM Compatible Kernel (CF ROOT)
    2. Reboot to Recovery.
    3. Wipe Data / Factory Reset.
    4. Select the ROM zip from your SD Card and flash.
    5. The device will reboot and finish flashing.
    6. Reboot to Recovery Again.
    7. Flash Google Apps.
    8. Reboot

    Any other AOSP ROM (CM7/MIUI/CM9)
    1. Reboot to Recovery.
    3. Wipe Data / Factory Reset.
    4. Select the ROM zip from your SD Card and flash.
    5. The device will reboot and finish flashing.
    6. Reboot to Recovery Again.
    7. Flash Google Apps.
    8. Reboot

    Upgrading from previous versions of CM10
    1. Reboot to Recovery.
    2. Select the ROM zip from your SD Card and flash.
    3. Flash Google Apps.
    4. Reboot

    @dhiru1602
    Sir!! Are you still working on a fix for the blacklight issue??

    Been waiting patiently for the fix, for so long. And will patiently wait furthermore...

    I cant use the rom because of that issue. And planning to switch to a newer phone, which aint an easy decision.

    Please put some light on the situation of the issue?

    Sent from my GT-I9003 using xda app-developers app

    Still working on it. It's really hard to fix something without being able to replicate it.

    I have this problem. The night, I switch off the phone and connect the charger. The morning, when I switch on the phone I have a bootloop. After restart (press and hold the power button) the phone boot normally. I attached the last_kmsg

    This doesn't seem to be a kernel crash from the last_kmsg. Should have uploaded a logcat instead.

    Yesterday, my phone sudden reboots while I was looking at facebook.

    Last_kmsg just in case this is related with our ROM.

    Thanks

    Memory Management issues. Working on it.
