i can confirm that ...I tried this fix and it's not working. It crash when I go to AOD
for Sweet a fully working AOD came with latest xiaomi.eu and some guy in a telegram channel said that the AOD came with the official GLOBAL alsoI like many others are a bit pissed off at this, i specifically wanted this as a feature (my GFs Mi 9 has it) and i found it useful in that if i was to wake up and use the bog, i could just glance at the time without bothering anyone...Always on should mean just that..oh and on the EU ROM as others have stated doesn't allow MIUI optimisation on/off.![]()
I am going to Purchase Redmi Note 10 Pro 5 days Later, are you saying AOD has been fixed, I mean it can stay always on?for Sweet a fully working AOD came with latest xiaomi.eu and some guy in a telegram channel said that the AOD came with the official GLOBAL also![]()

I don't understand what is sweet and BB means? Do you mean AOD came in EU roms? which does not restrict 10 Seconds onlyFor Sweet it came with xiaomi.eu update but actually i am not pleased with the BB

Yes AOD is now working in newest .eu Rom.sweet is device redmi note 10 pro
BB = Battery Backup
That means AOD is coming in Global Rom without the restriction of 10 Sec. And one more thing, since redmi note 10 pro does not have any notification LED, then the pulse light will blink whenever a new notification comes?Yes AOD is now working in newest .eu Rom.
On Telegram I read on Official Miui as well.
There are available aod fixes for another Xiaomi devices. I tried a fix for Mi 10 Lite, worked for me.nope...on xiaomi EU rom theres not even the option in dev options to disable xiaomi optimization so...aod at last 10 secs...;(

IMHO, i consider this as a bug. From the name itself, ALWAYS ON DISPLAY, it is supposed to be displayed all the time as users wish to, but the MIUI optimization restricts its purpose.Ok, so not being able to set AOD to always or scheduled is not a bug then?? I've read somewhere that with the last update this bug was fixed (Indian version), can someone confirm? How abot Xiaomi.eu ROM - is it that hard to activate this feature? I mean it has AMOLED screen, why not...
Try this:Has anybody experienced or discovered that Redmi Note 10 AOD doesn't stay as intended? Supposedly to stay On Always but after few seconds after locking the phone, the AOD switches off.
Glad I could help. Its an issue on other Xiaomi phones too.Woww! You're an angel sent from above! This solves my AOD issue! Thank you very much!
I think you have to find it out by yourself as I dont have Note 10 pro yet.And when disabling this option, does it have no repercussions on other options on the phone? and in relation to the display burn in? is always on changing places now that it is always on? how often does it change? Because if always on is always fixed, it will have burn in as it happens in other amoled models ... in the case of Samsung, I know that the information on the screen will change its location slowly.
