Am i the only one that doesnt have dial pad shortcuts?

Since i bought the sprint lg g3 ls990 ive never been able to use my dial pad hidden menu codes like everybody else or like any phone ive ever owned except these (i have 2 g3) i seen people on youtube using them ive seen other threads instructing to use these codes and yet i cant ever use them. I understand theres ways around it like i have shortcut master but im just wondering if its my phone or just the sprint model that doesnt support such codes?
