Maybe so, but fuq, its pretty sexy....its the only launcher I've seen to wow anybody who sees it in action....

Agreed. And really, it's different. We expect what we've had in a thousand forms since the G1 launched, and when someone changes it a bit, it feels funny.
I'm getting used to this, and honestly, I really freaking like it.

A simple grid (a la the Sense-style homescreen overview that ADW and LP use) would be much more efficient as you could go to any screen instantly without having to pass all the others, but of course that wouldn't look as exciting in a teaser video.

Actually, all you so with this is slide your finger left or right on the bottom bar, and the carousel immediately launches, rotating quickly to the screen you need. Kind of like Swype... Once you use it for awhile, it's just faster.

I ended up uninstalling it. What got me is the inability to change the browser button on the bottom right. Unless someone found away that I couldn't.

What ever you default browser is will be there.. So set a different default

I found it easy to theme it and change some images that were necessary to eliminate the rainbow of color when I tried it. Hopefully they overcome my gripes that I have with it outlined in my post linked below.

I tried to like it as I was a big fan of spb in my winmo days. But this thing is a major resource hog. 60+ mb of ram. Meanwhile, launcher pro uses less than 20 typically. My phone would constantly bog down. Now I think I'd rather see 3d screen previews on launcher pro and spb would have no advantage at all.

Haven't had any issues with memory usage or system issues whatsoever, but I have run across a major annoyance.
The app "decided" to establish my Home screen as my media screen. There's no apparent way to change the designation. I first went in and switched all the icons and widgets between the two, and that worked until reboot.
Then I thought maybe it was based on assumed usage, so I have made sure to only access apps from the screen I want as home for a prolonged period of time, but no change.
This is maddening enough to force me off of it if it doesn't correct soon. Still love it, but might have to drop it as a daily driver until a better version releases.

You can rename the screens

1 long press something to get into edit mode
2 press the menu soft key
3 rename tile

However if you rearrange the tiles after naming, a glitch will swap the names of tiles on you

Does anybody know how to change what the phone icon in the lower left opens to? I use a different phone/dialer app that I love and really wish I could map the button to it. But besides the occasional hiccup, I'm loving it.
