Amazon Prime Video Decryption Failure

Hey all,

I'm trying to stream video through Amazon prime but I keep getting a "Decryption failure" error every time. I've read somewhere that it's because Amazon thinks I'm abroad. I'm in the USA using a G935F (exynos) and running SuperStock rom. Thanks for any help fixing this!

I am in the exact same situation. G930F and the same error. I recall it was working before, not sure when it starts like this. I've trying all different ROMs and wipe/reinstall Amazon Prime Video App.

I had the same problem. Just use an older version then it should work again. Enjoy

Just a guess in the blue but Amazon Prime uses Widevine which requires SafetyNet which requires certified devices which requires unmodified system (or Magisk).

I have the same problem which started only a few days ago. Tried everything nothing works. S7 edge with superman rom and magisk is ok saftynet is green has nothing to do with that! Where the hell can i get an older Version?

It is really depending on the latest Amazon Prime Video Version! Running perfectly again with older ones!

I tried an older apk, it works. Enjoy while it last.
Amazon Prime Video 3.0.97.83601 (97083601) apk APK for Android
Google "apk mirror Amazon Prime App" to find place to get it. Make sure you don't click upgrade to break it.

System should be r/w if u hav granted superuser access to which ever root file explorer app ur using, im using root browser classic

for the magisk users, there's a module called liboemcrypto disabler.. that worked for me.

how to do that ? when i try to rename it system tells me that renaming impossible because "device or resource bysy"
