Not the same high quality.
Maybe 40-50% of Note 9/S9 quality.

And you will need extra custom kernel installed like elementalX etc to give boost to volume.

By default only the stereo mod is not enough to take advantage full stereo and audio result.

It is a common misconception that stereo speaker mods break your earpiece, but most of the times you'll be fine till there are no distortions in the sound from earpiece.
I've reduced the gain in the initial version, will increase it once there are more testers.

I had to go through several threads in order to port this mod.

Yep. Luckily the root software, Magisk is what you'll need to root, and install this module!

Thought I try this for the OP6, as the latest update (9.0.2) for OP6 meant that the stereo speaker module stopped working.
This module, for OP6t, did not work on the OP6 in fact it messed up the pattern lock which meant I could not get into the phone.

v4 is working fine for me on 9.0.2
Have you flashed any other audio mods?

You're right acervenky, it is working. Not sure why I was having issues, it's possible that the module from Chrisaw was causing the issue.

Well, I have not seen someone with a busted earpiece since 2013/14. I've always use these mods and my devices have been fine.

The top speaker will have lower volume, the volume of both speakers can be adjusted according to your preference by using the Cleanslate kernel & its application.

I am not able to install this mod on my 6T via magisk. Whenever I try to install it, the zip file is greyed out. (IIRC it's just a '+' in modules, right?)
