Would it be possible to compare the NV info from both an unlocked (old IMEI) and locked (new IMEI) to see if that offers any backdoor for GSM abilities. I remember that turning out to be the key for the good 'ol xt907 using bptools mode and qpst.
I've been looking for my old unlocked e4, but it hasn't turned up. So I'm not able to do it myself. If anyone with a locked or unlocked wants to start looking into it, maybe there could be hope!?
I'd even be willing to repurchase a new one to get the NV info to help out. Thoughts?
