Ok i feel your frustration about the supposedly higher capacity.

I have no means to measure the battery's capacity but i can share with you my experience with andida batteries

I had 2 of them (1600mah i think) with my HD2 , used those instead of my stock.
In 8 months of really hard use of the phone , i got 0 problems, their performance was on par with the stock battery if not slightly better. They were not worse for sure.

Now i got desire hd 2 months ago and purchased another andida , 1800mah this time. Supposedly.
I use it for 3 weeks now, there is no way its a real 1800mah battery
It lasts slightly longer than the stock battery again, but not a performance that would justify the +570 supposed mah.

To conclude, we re talking about a battery that
1) Costs 10$ shipping included
2) Capacity is not as high as advertised
3) It performs on par with the stock battery at least

If you ask me, it's a bargain for a battery replacement, you can't ask more from a 10$ purchase.

Just my 2 cents.

Recieved this dirt cheap (so called High Capacity1800mAh) chinese battery today, if anyone is interested I post my results and findings, after using it for a couple of days. Got it from www.obostore.com

Regards

* results *

after using and comparing to stock battery my conclusion is I get the same hours from this battery (which I expected) still it's a cheap replacement if you need one I posted a review on the website of www.obostore.com and they refuse to publish it, that says enough I think, right ? chinese fake
Andida 1800MhA Ace Battery=Fake

regards
mb
Same result here but still a very cheap extra battery.

WoW.... I so surprise after came back to this post for place my comment.

After I wait for anyone test but no one comment for few days. I ordered and got it now. The reason as someone post here. It's cheap, no need to wait. :)

I can say that the quality of 1800mhA is pretty good. It's can survive for longer with a good significant. My stock bat can stand about 1 day use (and no more). This 1800mhA can stand atleast 2 days as I test. That's good enought to see a better difference.

I can say the Andida 1800mhA good enough to replace your stock bat.

and... 1800mhA=not fake 100% sure :D

*** I use original HTC charger to charge the new one via phone.

Then you bought a wonder battery or you work for www.obstore.com (considering your 1st post) or maybe your original battery was a dud in the first place.

As you can read in this thread (not only me) but several members have tested this.
This battery does NOT work longer then any good working orginal HTC battery.
It's called a fake because they advertise it as 1800mHa which it is not, it's the same as stock
If you are in need for a extra or replacement battery it's okay, but it does not have the advertised EXTRA capacity.

my 2 cent

well sorry to bother you but your (1st) post here is 100% bullshit
We understand the purpose of this post, nevertheless the capacity of the battery is not accurate, there is no way its a 1800mah battery

Its a good cheap battery, comparable to the stock one, and thats all.
Everything more than that , is a bullshit

And something for the end
Andida company should try naming its products with real numbers, its a good product, but this fake capacity advertising is not helping their reliability

I live in Thailand. Also 1st post or 1000 post not have any meaning.

I just bought HTC Desire HD. Then look for new better battery. I have it now. Also put my comment here. That's all.

You think bad, I think good. It's free criticize here. I just share my experience. This is not your home. If I post something difference here. That's not bullshit thing. I have to say 'Bullshit' back to person who say that. Then, back to your home and say bullshit only your home members.

We talk about the battery. We say it good or bad. How dare you put not polite words to me?

again, we talk about the battery. I'm not kick your ass.

This is not about battery anymore, bottomline, the battery is fake because they misprint it with 1800MhA not because it does not work at all.It does work as a normal stock.

So let's keep it nice, if you don't think it's a fake, then thats your choice and sure it's your right, be happy with it :)

If you dont work for obostore.com then you have serious perception problems, not my fault or concern.
If you feel this battery performs 50% more than stock , there's definately something going wrong with your brains

This battery is ok, performs like stock, and thats it.
It is a bargain for 10$

BUT NO , ITS NOT A 1800mah battery

There is an easy way of calculating the battery capacity. Look here. It might not give you the most precise value (as the capacity itself is a variable depending on many factors), but it's a good reference value. My 5 months old not so badly treated stock battery is calculated @ 1121mAh, so it would be nice to see how this magical 1800 mAh battery performs.

My opinion is that all people who bought similar batteries should return them and request refund because what they bought was not what was described. You bought a 1800/1500 or whatever mAh battery which was really 1240. If eBay or Paypal is involved, you can claim your money very easily.
+1

Exactly what I did, except didn't have to return it. Free battery, thanks PayPal!

I bought an external charger.
I am planning to do a test
I will drain both batteries (STOCK and ANDIDA) to 0% to the point the phone wont turn on anymore.

Then i will fully charge them with the external charger and see how much time it takes for each one.
That should point out the capacity of this battery compared to the stock

I will post the results when done
