I would not hold your breathwait if some official original HTC accessory will have bigger capacity than 1230 mAh.

100s of users cant be wrongHow can u tell if your battery is fake or not?
Actually Mugen has made a 1500 mAh battery (in theory should last 20% longer) http://www.mugenbattery.com/htc-desire-hd-extended-battery.htmSorry to be rude, but please provide a link to an eBay battery that is rated higher than 1200 mah and is proved to actually be so. It would be nice to have a definite guide.
AFAIK Mugen was only able to produce a battery which only lasts 5% longer than stock http://www.mugenbattery.com/htc-desire-hd-extended-power-battery-1300mah.htm.
OK math is pointless, while your subjective statement "It definitely lasts a lot longer than the stock one" (Based on what really) , really gives as a clue about this battery.i have been using andida for over 4 months now....i dont know about the capacity...but it definitely lasts a lot longer than the stock one. don't go by the reviews of the guys who write the review within a week of getting the battery.
And enough with the pointless math....unless you're an electronics engineer...please refrain from it.
i have used 2 andida(SGS DHD) batteries and i know that they are a good deal for what you pay.
@pittas did you bother using the battery for a month atleast before you started the math... ?
the people who come to these threads are looking for something that can give them a little better battery life on their DHD.....you posting in bold that its fake is not helping.
As far as I have used this battery....it lasts longer than the stock one....has not given any problems so far.... even if it lasts just an hour extra....for 10$...its a decent deal.
NOTE :Charging also depends on the internal circuitry of the battery not only on the charger.... I can show you a sony battery which requires 12 hrs of charge with the same HTC (USB) charger...and its capacity is 1000 mAh
I wouldn't trust every Chinese product blindly....but do visit the Galaxy S forum & HD2 forum.....andida has been worthy of a trial.
From experience I can say that the battery is better than the stock one.....whether that is good enough for you or not is upto you.....
I have one of these batteries... and I use battery monitor widget. Over a couple of charge cycles the widget calculates the battery capacity for u. Mine has been around 1400-1600 for the past cycles..Hello guys. I'm owner of this Andida battery and i want to say for you seems it's better then stock. I'm used it around half of year, i don't think what it's 1800 but i guess it's around 1400-1500 real Mha.
Any idea how i can measure real Mha?
I guess it's not right information unfortunately...I use it too and i got value between 640 - 4600 ;( (right now 1546 )Mine has been around 1400-1600 for the past cycles..
Well did u adopt larger charging cycles? I try to charge only at 10-20%, and all the way til 100% before i unplug... Maybe these batteries vary from one to another hahaI guess it's not right information unfortunately...I use it too and i got value between 640 - 4600 ;( (right now 1546 )
having that kind of battery life with 1305 mhz is good IMO lol...Well,
Interesting results to be sure.
I've also purchased the Andida 1800 battery, and have been running it for nearly a week now. And religiously followed the initial charge/ discharge instructions for use.
4 complete charge/discharge cycles over 4 days time, and here is where I sit regarding the battery overall.
After 3 days of my average use ( a few emails, some wifi, and playing around in there)
I'm seeing a moderate improvement in overall discharge time. I can't produce any fancy application info, only my observations from the time I unplug, until the time I charge again.
Best (guess) on battery life improvement is roughly 15% over the stock battery.
Certainly not the 30+ percent I was looking for, but every % counts I suppose.
My overall rating of the battery is good. and while it certainly is not the cure for battery problems on the Ace, I'm convinced that it's still money well spent. And in my case, about a dollar per % I've gained.
I'm running the RCmix 2.3.5 sense rom, overclocked to 1305 mhz....with a 230 min. (ondemand gov.) and battery life is already excellence on this rom...IMHO
Hope this helps someone decide one way or the other......g
