Porting, someone can most likely do it, but then again not much activity here as it seems, especially after 6.0 came out. Also I don't quite think we'll get the official release in fall for our R

Looks like the Original Moto 360 watch will not be updated either now. I was torn between that and my G Watch R, glad I went with the latter.
Yeah I saw that and I'm actually thinking our G watch R could be next not receive it... considering how the wifi update took long to arrive, I have no trust in LG.
Completely agree with you on LG updates. Android 2.0 for the G Watch R will be my deciding factor to whether LG will be in the running for my next watch. The internals are completely capable, but we will see what LG states. Coming up on the 2 year mark with lifespan to... Find out soon enough.

And original G watch was dropped now too, if we get it for our R, it'll be last update for sure.
Even if it is the final update for the GWR it will still garner a fair amount of life from it. being on the latest major revision of Wear. I don't foresee google making another "major revision" within 2 years of 2.0 being out.
To me it makes sense that after 2 years of the first release of Wear they release a new major version to work out bugs/clean up their code. I will not have a problem buying a new watch after 4 years of solid service from my GWR.
Now lets just hope that LG comes through with our update...

I can not find any other I would have.....has anyone here experienced double battery drain after installing wear 2.0?
ok. maybe not 2.0 (my bad) but MM 6.0.1 on the g watch r.strange did we already get android wear 2?
I have the same battery drain problem. Somedays better than others.
if my phone is on MM, and the watch on lolli, can they still work together? thinking of downgrading the watch to lolli.
