Android 10 Beta on LG G7 G710n

I have recieved Android 10 update on my G7. Everything is working great and UI is much more beautiful and very fast dark mode is also good. Camera is also improved alot. The latest security patch is included with the update.

My Europe DEC got update today with patch january. He got the korean with beta version. We should get it in the summer somewhere

Hi @Z333D,
I also own a G710N but I haven't any opportunity to update my phone; how did you get the opportunity to update to the 10 beta?
I only haven't a korean carrier since i'm not living in Korea. Do you think it can be the reason?

You can update via Help app if you have N model but you will need lg account registered in korea just.

I already have a korean account, but where in their Help app I can find the beta for the g710n?

only for the 710n, which is the Korean version of the G7

I had already an lg account registered in Korea so it was easy!
I just had to spent half an hour approx to understand korean language a bit more but, in the end, I success!!
I'm going to install the version 10!

I guess that, once downloaded, the installation of the new version will be automatic and the tmp file will be deleted after the installation ends.
If you know more, pls let me know and I will be pleasure to share the file.

I'm searching a way since several months but anything good for this model.

The update process was the following:
1. Backup
2. Flash https://lg-firmwares.com/downloads-file/21589/G710NP20k_00_LGU_KR_OP_1220 UPGRADE over https://lg-firmwares.com/downloads-file/21597/G710NO20k_00_OPEN_KR_OP_1220 with LGUP (Upgrade option preserve the data)
3. FOTA V28e with Activity Launcher (first entry)
4. FOTA V28j with Activity Launcher

Yes i have been in same situation like you but i have not find any yet there is a 1 thread in this forum where the user followed a v40 tutorial to unlock our model but its not trusted much so i have not tried it yet. But if you find any plz let me know also if i found i will tell you.

I opened the korean account but when I try to update ut gives me this message :
"Error while signing up
There was an error applying for subscription.
There is no phone registration information."
Canyou please lust the steps you did to get it to work ?
