When were you accepted and when you got the update? No need. All you need is patience.
I was on 9.1.338 and I got the update too. Sometimes it just takes a while.

Accepted 25th, OTA 28th, but I've seen others who had to wait much longer. When were you accepted and when you got the update?
As the tittle suggested
Good
1. Animation is smooth
2. Opening apps are quite faster
3. Dark mode is nice
4. Cleaner UI
Bad
1. Battery is quite worse
These are my feedbacks atm.. Feel free to add more and solutions to annoyances as well.. Thanks
The step counter is linked to the Health app. Any chance that was removed/deactivated during the update to EMUI 10?Hey I totally agree with you except for the battery thing, I have not faced any such significant change in battery or SOT. I am getting the same battery backup as I used to earlier.
Though there is one issue which I have been facing, the lockscreen doesn't show step counts anymore.
Also I formatted my phone after updating it to beta as I hadn't formatted my phone ever since I purchased it and there were so many cluttered files and all.
Before I performed the reset, I wasn't getting an option to swipe through the magazine lock screen enabled wallpapers or edit i.e. Add/ Remove the wallpapers like in earlier stable version.
After resetting, I can edit and view all the wallpapers by swiping right or left like in earlier stable versions before beta update .
So that issue got solved automatically.
But the one feature that I loved on my lockscreen i.e. Step counts has gone missing.
After the reset, I am unable to install the beta app and report to Huawei Team directly as I realised that the app can't be installed now.
So anyone if facing the similar issue, kindly report about non visibility of step counts on lockscreen.
Thank you.

I am also facing similar issue. After factory reset not able to install Beta app. Also while trying to restore the app from backup it says "Conflicting app signature, unable to install."Hey I totally agree with you except for the battery thing, I have not faced any such significant change in battery or SOT. I think I also faced the same issue once but then I switched off mobile data while I was connected to WiFi so I didn't realise it.Yes sir I am also hoping for better AOD customization in next beta build. I am also seeing one weird issue that is even when I am on stable wifi connection 4g data keeps on getting used every few seconds. This never happened on Pie.
If you download and use the Aida64 app ( under sensors), it shows that the step counter is inbuilt and always active regardless of Huawei Health being uninstalled or not . However, once you install beta 10 that sensor is no longer activated for step counter or active.Hey I totally agree with you except for the battery thing, I have not faced any such significant change in battery or SOT. It's easily verifiable, sensors active and running under 9.1 and not under 10 beta.Oh man...
That's strange but too informative to hear...
Hope they fix it in the next build or stable update...
They have to...
Coz that's, for me atleast, one of the most unique features of this device which I loved using...
Thanks a lot for responding..

That sounds good since it appears that they are trying to prevent the step counter from always being active. Like in my case on 9.1 , it was always being used calculating steps even with no apps calling for it.If you open Huawei Health app or keep the step count visible in notifications panel then it's actually working like it used to be....
It calculated right number of steps in my case...
But my issue is that it isn't showing up on the lockscreen as it used to be earlier even if I have my show step counts on lockscreen option enabled...

I just don't understand why the inbuilt step counter was always active before, even with no apps calling for its usage.
As for emui 10 features , Huawei completely came up short, in regards to adding any new features etc. Official Huawei listshowing what they claim was added. The gap between one ui and emui is even bigger. If you open Huawei Health app or keep the step count visible in notifications panel then it's actually working like it used to be....

Sensors shouldn't be running on all the time unless called for by software. Example, Samsung one ui has a step counter, but it doesn't run all the time unless instructed to do so by S Health.Sorry to argue but the sensor is active all the time otherwise how would it count my steps i.e. When I opened it few hours ago, it showed 1k steps...
Right now it's showing 3k around..
So if the sensor was inactive then it should have shown me only 1k only right? As I stopped using the app after that...
So I am sorry to disagree but I feel sensor stays active all the time only like it used to be earlier... Even if no apps are still calling for it..

I feel that totally misses the point of keeping this sensor...Sensors shouldn't be running on all the time unless called for by software. Example, Samsung one ui has a step counter, but it doesn't run all the time unless instructed to do so by S Health.
Sir I am still not sure what your problem is, you are not a Mate 20 pro user and now as per your comment in Samsung forums you are not even using the beta but still you want to keep on cribbing about something which doesn't even make any sense.Sensors shouldn't be running on all the time unless called for by software. Example, Samsung one ui has a step counter, but it doesn't run all the time unless instructed to do so by S Health.
