Android 10 final is out

guys i have latest pie {tencent} vercion converted ww rom and fingerprint,can i use the official update file to upgrade to 10?

edit:update succsessfull,no files deleted,no random crashes,no settings lost,everything its ok

no special method mate..just download and move to internal then reboot,system update detected,yes,thats all

I was on 1910.35 and had the update fail error. So i updated it to 1910.64 then to 2001.60 and it was successful. both roms can be gotten from asus website.

Finally got android 10 on ROG phone 2! Not by fota update though. I had to manually install it by downloading zip file from Asus site. So far everything is going smoothly for me. Except that there is this notification icon that doesn't go away T^T.

For me is OK. Working fine. No problems, I have Tencent version converted to WW 8/128.

The firmware page shows a Downgrade... Looks strange.

It's nice for Asus to allow users to downgrade if they think the current Android 10 isn't stable enough for them. Some oems don't allow that and break users' phones if they try to downgrade

This is what i have passed with my ROG phone 2( sorry for my bad english). My phone is tencent version running WW things. I got this last weekend and of course, what i tried first was trying updating my phone to android 10. I searched and found official asus firmware and bios page for ROG phone 2. The newest version is WW-17.0210.2001.60. I downloaded it and followed tutorial but it said update failed. So i made it from beginning. My rom version was WW-16.0622.1907.33, that mean from this version to the newest there were 5 missing patches. From the base version i updated WW-16.0631.1908.12 then WW-16.0631.1908.21 -> WW-16.0631.1908.21 -> WW-16.0631.1910.35 -> WW-16.0631.1910.44 -> WW-16.0631.1910.64 -> WW-17.0210.2001.60( android 10 patch) sequency and it was successful.

Can you use gesture navigation while using a different launcher?

Just got it here. Google Pay working, gesture nav disables as soon as you set launcher to Nova / CPL / etc.

You can with adb, but it eats a bit of screen when a ban is coming in the bottom (like a screenshot or something). Anyway, it's just a bit, so...

I'm in A10 using with Lawnchair the full gesture navigation. It works amazing with QuickSwitch flashed.

Can you describe the process? I've never heard of Lawnchair or QuickSwitch.

Edit - Apparently, lawnchair is a launcher. I installed it but it switched gesture navigation off as soon as I set it as the default home, like Nova. Trying to figure out what quick switch is now.

Yeah I noticed it too but after a day of usage, it went back to normal.
I measure using ampere. After installing, it was consuming 430 mah on average and a day or two, it went back to 230 to 400 mah range.

Go to settings > display > status bar icon manager. you can remove it there
