Ok, But you can unlock the bootloader. You just have to get the Code. I have now get the Code. But i want the Android 10.
It is really sad that it has to do without the latest version. Was really a great Smartphone.
What is GSI? Sorry for my Bad englisch, i am italian.

ok, but and GSI´s android Q , others devices can install, mate9 never install no works
Ok, can you then recommend a very good custom rom android 9? With many possibilities. One that may periodically update the security patch?
i use EMUI 9.1 in Mate9, but emui 9.1 no good, very slow and lags, no good.
no have good roms for mate9 ....

i install Aosp 10 in my mate9
good but I didn't find it so fast and fluid,
has lags and delays, it was supposed to be better than Emui
