Android 10 stable installation/update guide with root + more!

DO NOT INSTALL ON THE TMOBILE VARIENT OR DATA WILL BE BROKEN

*Data will be deleted if you install it on another region, be carefull!*

Android 10.0.2 OOS Stable OP7Pro (Global) download.

Android 10.0.2 OOS Stable OP7Pro (EU) download.

How to update/install from PIE(no root):
1. Download the stable
2. Copy the zip to the storage, don't put it in a folder.
3. Go to Settings -> System -> System Updates -> Click top right icon -> Local upgrade -> Click on the zip-> upgrade -> System upgrade completed to 100%.
4. After the installation is complete, click Restart.
5. Update successful.

How to update/install from OB(no root):
1. Install the rollback zip and follow the first tutorial.

How to update/install with root(TWRP):
*MAKE SURE TO HAVE EVERY MAGISK MODULE DISABLED BEFORE YOU DO THIS*
1. Download the stable, magisk and TWRP installer
2. Copy the zip to the storage
3. Boot TWRP and decrypt
4. Flash stable
5. Flash TWRP Installer
6. Reboot recovery
7. Flash Magisk
8. Reboot and enjoy!

How to update/install with root(no TWRP):
*MAKE SURE TO HAVE EVERY MAGISK MODULE DISABLED BEFORE YOU DO THIS*
1. Download the stable
2. Copy the zip to the storage, don't put it in a folder.
3. Go to Settings -> System -> System Updates -> Click top right icon -> Local upgrade -> Click on the zip-> upgrade -> System upgrade completed to 100%.
4. After the installation is complete, DO NOT PRESS RESTART
5. Go to magisk manager
6. Press Install > Install >Install to inactive slot(After OTA)
7. Press reboot, now you've updated your rom with root!

If you encounter any weird issue if you upgraded from an older version. Try a clean install.

Gestures improved a lot. Animations also more fluid. Able to see SOT now. Digital Wellbeing added. Added 4G next to WiFi calling. Great improvement over DP3. Toggling hidden bar in gestures also removes the bottom bar. Better explanation of gestures. When swiping back they removed the vibration on each swipe and made it to where it's only when exiting the app or settings. Fluid throughout the OS. August Security Patch.

As the link says h2os.com, this is a HydrogenOS DP4 build and NOT OOS. Everything works except VoWiFi and Google Assistant (probably because China blocks it.) VoLTE does work, though. This is a much more refined version of OOS DP3 and can be used as a daily driver if you don't mind not having Google Assistant.

I was on OOS DP3 with 3.3.1-4 prior to flashing this. I wiped everything and formatted data within TWRP prior to installing this H2OS DP4. I then installed OS and 3.3.1-4 rebooted into recovery, and then installed Magisk Canary. Everything is working fine for me.

I suggest you make a backup with OnePlus Switch, save the opbackup directory to your PC, backup anything else you feel important, and then wipe everything in OS recovery. Boot into setup, but don't set anything up; instead, power down. Power up into fastboot mode and see if you can flash TWRP. If not, you'll have to load standard OOS and load TWRP on that and then flash this in recovery like I did. Once you have H2OS DP4 with TWRP, continue your setup and then restore your OnePlus Switch backup.

is the first time I flashed a Q beta I flashed this thru local upgrade then I wiped Data, so now I need go back to 9.5.11 rooted then follow the steps you mentioned thanks bro!:good:
