Does anyone have the android 11 firmware that can be flashed? Or is it possible to extract from a phone that is still on the old firmware? Mine is on android 12 now and I can't go back.(XQ-BE62)
Unfortunately xperifirm doesn't let you download old firmware, so now that the android 12 firmware is out I can't get the 11 version. I have ended up just returning the phone since I was still within the return period, once I get the refund, I'm going to buy another new one which should still have android 11 on it.I think you could have made your own custom FTF file using xperifirm. But now you may need to use someone elses file. I m still on 11, US version, was wondering why you wish to downgrade. Aside from personal opinions about UI looks, anything go terribly wrong, like abysmal battery life or spectacular crashes?
I just hate the ui. If you have a pixel that you can put 12 on you can preview it that way, otherwise you could try emulating it in android studio. Make sure to do a nandroid backup before updating though if you do decide to.If everything was ok, why do you want the phone running android 11? I am reading as much as i can before installing android 11, but sadly there isnt much out there to help me decide. For now i m holding off.
