No I'm just saying I'm willing to put £10 down if anyone wants to start a bounty? But I doubt this device is popular enough for anyone other than us minority to care really 😂
Maybe the new magisk can patch the boot.img since the bug could've been filesystem related. That's what caused bootloops on other devices as well. Worth a shot.

Patching boot with Magisk, both beta and canary versions, results in a bootloop on Xperia 5 II.
We've got the update today and face the same issue.
I'm going to create an issue on Magisk's repo describing what we have here, but it seems that there's no way to get any logs since ADB doesn't work this early in the boot process before the reboot.
