Going to dust off my Pixel 2 XL and play with this. It's currently running an ABC rom (Pie). Can I use flash.android.com to go to DP2? I don't care about clean vs dirty flash since this is not my daily driver any more.

Cant we install this through the factory recovery option (update from internal storage)? Also I currently have Google Fi with the esim activation, will my service work when I turn the phone back on or do I have to set it up first?

Nothing is working. Tried sideloading but my computer just says it cant load the .zip file, tried the flash-all and it worked it seemed but my phone wont boot. Seems like the vender or system never finished. Cant get past the initial white "Google" screen and says device is corrupted. Im stuck

Using DP as daily driver and, so far, excellent experience. Everything I do works and works well. Been on it since the day it came out, on my Verizon variant. System update through phone settings works to upgrade the preview. Going to enroll in beta when it's released in June (last I heard).
Even with locked bootloader you can sideload the OTA via ADB in recovery mode, but be warned if your bootloader is locked you CANNOT downgrade back to 10 or any other version AFAIK. If anyone knows how to downgrade (setting boot partition, timestamp bypass, or any other trickery) be nice to know if something breaks with a future update.
Only thing I have a gripe with is that it seems to use a substantial amount of battery while the screen is on. Still, with fairly heavy use I'm getting 24hr+ battery life. Can't remember if 10 did this because I was using a different phone for daily driver until recently.
Gotta say I love what they've done with Android and can't wait for full release.

Don't use flash tools.
Download the image.
Enter recovery mode (go to bootloader screen (hold power and volume down or use ADB to reboot to bootloader),choose recovery and when it says "no command" hold power and press volume up key briefly, sound say something about sideload at the bottom, sideload the image from your computer with ADB by using the command

"ADB sideload 'filename'.zip".

I renamed the DP image 'OTA'.zip to make it easier.
Keep in mind with locked bootloader there is no known way to downgrade at the moment.. Only up. I tried to downgrade every way I know so far and no dice.

Deuces script also fails at the very end after it sends the vendor and system saying something about an unexecutable command and powershell, shiows a bunch if red text and says done. From what i remember, the red text said it couldnt reboot the phone for some reason on the last step. Going back to 10 until i can figure out why i cant flash 11.

Yep i did all of that. Sideload isnt working, says it cant read the zip and im on an unlocked bootloader. Only used flashtools after everything else wasnt working and a google search said that using flashtools could maybe get the sideload to work.
