How do you restart the phone then? You have to power off and back on?

Yes! Apparently it is a two stage method now. What a backward step. I bet if not in 11, they will rectify this in 12.

Android 11 has been a mess.

Not really! Seems alright. What is draining your battery? Is it Google play services?

Has anyone been able to unlock tethering (without carrier permission)?

I had it working with a Magisk module up until the last two betas. Now there's no internet connection to the connected devices.

Anyone else gotten this to work?

TWRP advanced fix boot loop problems reboot

Hey! Need a little help. I updated to Android 11 Beta 2. Now my phone is stuck on a boot loop. A li'l different though, phone boots up normally and stays on the lockscreen and alive. Can receive calls. But once I unlock with the pattern it shows ' Phone is starting' works for a good 2 seconds and then ends up on infinite bootloop until I Power down. How do I access my files on PC ? If I can get just few files out of it then maybe I can perform a factory reset . Please HELP!

My Wake on Notification isn't working. I have that and DT2W enabled (AOD disabled). Suggestions? I've cleared the settings cache, toggled the setting and restarted the phone so far.

anyone else's headphones not working? it will only play through the phone speakers while I have headphones attached, Bluetooth works fine.

Same question. Couldnt find any setting related to it, but have seen an article mentioning it working. So I assume it can be enabled, maybe through some adb command?

Just joined the beta when 2.5 came out. But man am I loving it! Screenshot editing is perfect, I hated the old way. A few new animations that I like and some are so subtle but they make a neat difference. And my battery life is phenomenal. I work 7-7 in a factory so I have poor reception. usually by lunchtime I'm needing to put it on the charger for a little while. But on Android 11 it's 4:00 here and I still have 55% left!

I've seen mention of doing it with the latest canary build of magisk but for some reason that build has been taken down.

Tried rooting with the latest stable build but no go. Phone just gets stuck in a boot loop.

Edit: nevermind, I found a debug version of canary and now I have root.

love it so far no problems on beta 3 as of yet and running since live
